Willard Price Adventure Series

I remember enjoying these from my own childhood and have been looking for them for my kids. This is fantastic value, and there are actually 7 books although the photo on the product pages only says 6.Nice adventure books where the heroes have good character traits. Maybe a bit out of date that catching animals for zoos is being kind, but the boys are good-looking after animals and people. Also missing good female characters as many books of that time lacked. I always talk to my son and daughter about this when we read such books.

I got these for my son (11) who is an avid reader. His reading level is well above his age and I have struggled to find books that are written at a level he enjoys and that have appropriate content.These books were perfect. He loved them. Not only are they well written and full of adventure, but they are educational too. He does love wild life and loved learning about the different animals in the books.As a gauge, other books he has enjoyed are the Biggles books and books written by Micheal Morpurgo.

Loved reading these Willard Price books when I was a kid. Now buying them for my son and hoping he'll enjoy them just as much. Prompt delivery by the seller.

These books were the only ones I would read in my childhood so wanted to pass on the experience to my 11 yo. This set did not disappoint and comes well presented with great cover designs.

I bought these for my eight year old daughter. She loves reading and animals and I remember getting these from the library one at a time many years ago. She really enjoyed them and we hope that the next seven are released as a set ASAP.
