Desks with File Drawer

We purchased two of these for our home office. Directions are great and easy to follow. One person can do pretty much all assembly. We needed two for putting the top on just to line up the pins. I gave 4 star on assembly because a few pre drilled holes weren’t there at all. Also a couple dowel pin holes were so deep pins fell all way flush. On both of our desks purchased. Must be manufacturing defect. From what I see I would rate value at an 8 out of 10. Some scratches on top when we unboxed them. Also when assembled there are 4 places where they use the locking mechanisms to hold top to bottom. Those are visible when fully assembled. I would have been alright even with a color matching round sticker to cover these spots. The spots are just inside the 2 top shelves on both sides. I usually only write short reviews. How ever this desk is very nice and overall well made as well as beautiful. When spending money we like reviews so wanted to help where I could.

ordered this corner desk for our home office area. the price was very reasonable (1/3 of furniture store desks) and it is of a good quality. i am very impressed by the thickness and weight of the components. assembly took about 2 hours but was easily accomplished following the excellent instructions. all the parts were labeled and matched exactly what was in the instruction manual. very pleased with this purchase.

I originally reviewed this product poorly, as it showed up without any assembly instructions. I emailed the supplier and they QUICKLY responded within 36 hours. They sent me a PDF of the instructions that i was able to use. Overall, I was VERY happy with the responsiveness of the seller. The desk itself was very easy to assemble (once i got the instructions) - i'm a 57 year old woman and it took me a little less than 3 hours to get it together. You will need a second person to help you to get the desk top on and secured. Other than that i was able to do the whole thing by myself. It is very sturdy, made of great materials, all the drawers lined up perfectly and i'm very pleased with the end product. Two things though: there is no glass door - it's a plastic piece, not glass. However, it still looks nice. It's just not what it says it's going to be. Also, the whole for the power strip on the top is NOT where it shows it in the picture. It's in a worse location. I'm able to live with it, but just know it's not quite as pictured.

I purchased this desk for my son, he needed a larger desk to use for school and gaming. It is large enough to not be oversized and it looks great in his room. Now he has space for 2 monitors, a printer and a laptop if he needs, as well as space for writing. Color is great, it looks modern and quality is good. It is quite heavy and it took my husband a good 2 hours to set it up. Delivery was fast and Customer Service was great in fixing a problem we had with some damage done during the mail/delivery process. This is a great company to purchase from, they truly stand by their products. Happy son, happy mom. 😆

I actually bought two of these desks for my husband and myself , We both share a room of about 11x 13, so corner desks work very well. We where hesitant buying sight unseen, but after reading other reviews we decided to order them . We were pleased to find the quality very durable and well made. The instructions were easy to follow and after putting one together the second one was a breeze. Only downside is that there is no hutch that you can add for more storage space, and no keyboard tray, otherwise I would recommend this desk for anyone looking for a corner desk .

Just now, you get what you pay for. Not the steardest but it does what it should do

The price on this one gave me a false sense of security. And that's crazy. You'd think for $330+ you'd get a reasonably decent piece... But it falls on its face at first twitch. Let me start by saying I recently bought a house, and had no furniture at all. So I've bought (and subsequently assembled) far more "flat pack" furniture than I ever imagined, and this one is by far the worst. Assembly not just difficult, but imprecise direction, mis-drilled holes, pieces missing labels, etc. The good: -it is a desk -nice size And that's about it. Struggling to find anything of substance that can be described as "good". The bad and the ugly: -damage in shipping. Not dramatic but several parts had dented corners or ripples and expansion from moisture. No water stains so likely just humidity or one-time wetness -parts don't fit/mis-drilled holes. Parts 3 + 4 (iirc) are the two connecting back pieces. They screw into the base, and then connect to each cabinet. Unfortunately, the holes in each side this one are off by about 2.5 inches. Had I not got out the drill, measured and drilled new pilot holes, this desk just plain would not have made it as a completed piece. Good thing I had neccesary tools on-site and I'm handy enough for this. -missing door hinge pilot holes. My cabinet was also missing the pilot holes for the door hinges, to line up the door. I had to get a shim of wood and rest the door on it for the right spacing, and drill new holes. This was particularly time consuming, and much more than the quick 4 holes in 3+4. Unbelievable -trashed glass. This is shipped with glass door having no film on it, but the "harder" foam sheets on either side. This foam scratched to bejesus out of the glass in transit, since the foam sheets have an about 1/4 inch gap, so they moved around alot; and since there's no film on the glass it already looks decades old (it's really dramatic actually). -incorrect drawer position. This is yet another pilot holes problem. These ones for the drawer slides actually exist. Shocking I know. So I installed the slides per directions. But last step, sliding in the file drawer, it overlaps the top drawer and won't close or let the top drawer out. At this point I'm OVER IT and I'll have to disassemble and reassemble the drawer slides another time as currently you can't use the top drawer, and the bottom one won't close all the way. -door too small. Yeah this one is particularly shocking. Every other door in the history of mankind closes onto a frame, effectively blocking off light, etc. This door is SMALLER than the opening, so there's about 1/8 inch gap all the way around. PC behind the door has an LED on it, and it really brings attention to the poor fitting nature of this door. -- Overall I can't even believe this schitt show made it to market. What a disaster. And it's priced in with much nicer units from brands like OKC that have flat pack furniture with a reasonably good fit and finish. This unit makes you feel like to you've been bamboozled. And now you have hours into a huge piece that's prohibitively difficult to return. Fool me once. Shame on you.
