Best book on keto
This is a great book for those interested in the ketogenic diet. I couldn't put it down and actually finished it in one day. Dr. Colbert offers a clear prescription of how to get into ketosis quickly as well as how to make adjustments to make it a lifestyle after weight loss and other goals are achieved. I especially liked the sample menus and shopping list that provides guides instead of a bunch of recipes that I'll never follow. I intend to put his advice to work immediately. This book is a great complement to "The Obesity Code unlocking the secrets of weight loss" by Jason Fung MD

Most nutritional supplements and results prove it!!
I love these products, Hydrolyzed Collagen, MCT power, Organic Red supreme, and Fermented Green Supreme. Place a scoop of each in Almond milk for a very delicious breakfast shake and unbelievably nutrients. Keeps you full for hours and taste awesome! Great for your bones, skin, eyes, energy (the list goes on) and healing of your gut. I’ve been using these for years now. This is a Christian doctor that has done extensive research with these products and cares about people and their health.

Easy to understand
Dr. Colbert does a fantastic job of explaining how and why the keto zone diet works. Making the necessary changes takes a little bit of effort but the meal plan suggestions are easy to follow and make the transition to a healthy lifestyle much easier.

Like Keto diet concept, do not like sales pitch writing
I found Dr. Colbert's Keto Zone Diet to read like a sales pitch and it made me feel oddly gullible even though I agree with and find the Keto diet compelling. I bought this with the cookbook, Let Food Be Your Medicine, which requires a lot of unnecessary food prep and is a time challenge to implement, even for an avid cook. I found them confusing, one says eliminate beans, bananas, sweet potatoes, etc., from your diet and the cookbook is loaded with meals including these ingredients. The cookbook also lacks an ingredient index so if you want to look for chicken recipes, you have to read through the list of recipes for each week.

Very good book on Keto way of living
Lots of really good information in here for those of us beginning the Keto way of life. I appreciate the explanations of how and why the Keto Diet works. At first, I wondered if Dr. Colbert was just jumping on the keto bandwagon because it was a "new thing," but after reading this book I see that he put years of research and study into what Keto living is all about and the benefits. He did his research and he explains the lengths he went to to make sure it was a good thing for his patients. This book settled any doubts I had about the safety and effectiveness of a ketogenic lifestyle. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to know more about "how and why" keto is the way to go.

WE WILL SEE.....
I LOVE THIS DOCTOR AND HAVE MANY OF HIS BOOKS. I BELIEVE EVERYTHING HE WRITES IS GOD INSPIRED. HOWEVER, THAT BEING SAID, I AM GETTING VERY TIRED OF THIS DIET. I FIND THAT I AM COOKING ALL THE TIME AND THOU THAT IS NOT REALLY A BAD THING, I AM A WIDOW AND COOKING FOR ONE IS HARD. TRYING TO KEEP MYSELF HEALTHY IS OF MAIN CONCERN, I AM 75. I FULLY REALIZE AND AM EDUCATED IN THE ADDITIVES IN FOOD TODAY AND DO STAY AWAY FROM PROCESSED FOODS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, BUT TO TRY AND STAY ON THIS KIND OF EATING I AM NOT SO SURE...I HAVE BEEN ON DIET FOR A MONTH. I WILL SEE OVER TIME WHAT IT BRINGS IN WAY OF WEIGHT LOSE AND ETC.

This book may answer some questions about the Keto Diet..
I bought this book the other day and didn't realize that is was a "ministry edition". Was going to return.. However, after scanning past this information, I started in on the book and I am liking what I am reading... I have other books on Keto and this one is written in plain ordinary language and easy to understand.. The author, Dr. Colbert, is a medical doctor and give his own personal opinion on issues in his practice regarding the keto diet, cancer, obesity and different diseases.. And I like the way he describes the problems associated with food, health and disease.. I think I am going to enjoy this book...

Nachdem ich schon sehr viele Bücher über verschiedene Diäten gelesen habe, dachte ich, dass meine Einstellung die richtige sei, die ich mir über Jahrzehnte erarbeitet hatte. Das Ergebnis dieser akzeptierten Einstellung war jedoch nur immer temporär und bis vor kurzem hatte ich wieder das gleiche Gewicht wie vor 30 Jahren, als ich mit der ersten radikalen Diät anfing. Über das Internet bin ich durch einen vertrauenswürdigen Freund in USA auf die Keto Zone Diät aufmerksam geworden - dieser lebt seit ein paar Jahren erfolgreich danach. Nach anfänglicher Skepsis habe ich mich mit diesem Ernährungsstil näher befasst und dieses Buch bestellt. Jetzt bin ich davon total begeistert; ich habe vor 2 Wochen mit der Keto-Diät angefangen und bereits 7 kg abgenommen. Das Buch hilft mir, den ganzen Hintergrund zu verstehen und wie der Körper funktioniert. Außerdem finde ich für einen perfekten Anfang die richtigen Rezepte. Ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen!

Food industry should be tried for crimes against humanity
The amount of sugar hidden in our foods is disgraceful and the food companies are complicit in the diseases wrecking society and lives. This book explains why if you follow a traditional diet you will struggle to lose anything and then succeed in putting it back on. I used the information in this book and lost over 10lbs in 3 weeks and the weight has stayed off plus I never feel hungry. The book is worth every penny.
