Very sturdy, durable, good craftsmanship, etc... worth the money
My 9-yr old son and I love everything about this backpack. I bought this in July 2018 for my Japan trip with the hope it would just last 2 weeks or at least not broken during our 15-day stay but this one is ROBUST!!!! We threw it on and off airplanes, off trains, we had it with us everywhere we went since it could hold lots of stuff especially a few 2 litter bottles of H20 for hot summer days in Japan... we climbed over a thousand of stair flights to see the huge Great Buddha Statue on top of the mountain and I didnt carry it on my back bc It was too heavy so I only held the fabric handle instead. We were so rough with it but it handled the trip like a piece of cake. Now my son used it for his 3rd grade and you know at this level, kids have to carry lots of books and big binder... Sometimes i feel sorry for this backpack to be honest with you, so all I could compare it to was the military duffle bag. The fabric handle on top, the pulling metal handle, the wheels, the back straps, the zippers are all made very well. I have no problem with pulling the extra piece of fabric that stuck behind the straps to cover the wheels when you dont need to use the wheels. So many pockets that are so necessary to put items in. Overall, this backpack have a very good stand in my heart eventhough the price had gone up pretty high compared to what I paid for 6 months ago. Still, I am gonna be a loyal customer to this brand because its worth the money even one day many years later my son grows out of this backpack. Please continue making this one so I can have this for him when his current one breaks or not serviceable anymore. Highly recommend this to any parents by a doting parent like me!

Not really ULTRA light, but a good rolling backpack
I purchased this ultra light backpack for my son for school and expected it to be more... ULTRA light. You know how when running shoes started being manufactured with synthetic materials and you picked one up in the store and were like, "Whoa... this weighs about as much as a plastic baggie..."This backpack is not like that. It appears to be about the same weight as the other backpacks with this type of rolling hardware. So more like "regular" light, which is still slightly heavy for daily use as a backpack. (The normal trade of for having the rolling hardware.)However, my son never uses it as a backpack. He always rolls it. Thus far it does appear to be pretty durable. Straps stow away nicely, which is convenience since they are never used.My only other minor complaint is that the backpack isn't super easy to use when it is not upright. When in the classroom, my son usually puts his backpack under his desk. Since there are no conveniently placed hooks to attach a carabiner for securing his water or his lunch box, they have to be repositioned. And it absolutely does not work to have loose things in the front pocket, which tips at an angle when the backpack is laying down. So everything falls out when you open it. We had to do some problem solving and rig a few things so the backpack functions while rolling AND when he lays it down.

Good idea, needs a few improvements
Great design having the entire base covered in plastic, right where all school backpacks get damaged. The wheels run smoothly. The interior design needs a lot of improvement: needs an interior tablet/laptop padded pocket.I wasn't thrilled with the finishes, they look a little cheap. The major flaw though is the size: this backpack is perfect for an upper Elementary school student, maybe grades 3-6. I was shopping for a 7th grader with the intent to use for a couple of years. It is already too small so I returned. These rolling backpacks are essential to students in higher grades/college when they carry many heavy books. Therefore either the size should get bigger or they should offer 2 different sizes one at current size, and one bigger.

Excellent Quality That Should Hold Up For Years
My daughter has only been using this for about a month now but so far it is has been excellent. The bottom is a hard plastic which should resist tearing. The material on the rest of the bag seems durable and able to withstand some abuse. The wheels are fairly large and seem like they should hold up for years. The handle is a single pole but it feels sturdy and is very easy to raise and lower. The only downside is that the "treasureland" pattern seems very busy but my daughter absolutely loves it. Considering the quality and the functionality this is an excellent product.

When run over by a car, it holds up!
This is the toughest little backpack! It’s got a hard bottom so it can handle any puddles or pot holes! Love all the pockets and the wheels are sturdy!I also accidentally ran over the backpack with my SUV, you know cuz I’m an idiot, but this little guy was like “whatevs!” It left some small holes in the bag so I definitely don’t recommending running it over with a car but I think it adds character to the bag LOL! Overall this is a tough as nails bag and now I don’t have to lug all my books around on my back! Good quality and sturdy!

Love It. Wish it converted from roller bag to backpack easier.
My 4th grader's backpack was getting soooooo heavy. This solved our problems! The only drawback is it is time-consuming to convert from rolling to backpack. When I'm dropping her off and she changes her mind in the car on how she wants to use it, it creates panic.

Love this backpack
Love this backpack! Recently we bought a rolling bag for my son and within 2 months the fabric by the wheels ripped and things were falling out. Then I found this gem! The bottom is a hard rubbery plastic which keeps the bag from tearing and keeps everything dry on rainy days. The interior is large and roomy and the wheels and handle are smooth and well made.

Pros and cons
Pros: handle is long so it’s easier to use if you’re tall; bottom has a hard outer covering protecting it from rubbing holes through the fabric; and the bag and wheels both stood up well under constant use and going up and down cement staircases several times a dayCons: inside space of the bag is a bit small and won’t hold a lot of books; telescopic handle isn’t strong and broke after only 3 months of use (see photo)
