Q: Does this work for Blue Yeti mics?

Yes very well. Currently running a yeti x on mine and it has no problem supporting it

Q: Hi, The base of the boom arm (3rd segment) is stiff and the tension screw does nothing, any fix?

Back the screw off a good ways and clamp the base down and break it in for a couple days. I thought I was gonna have to return it for being too stiff but after the first couple days it loosened up some and works great now.

Q: Will this fit a samson g track pro?

First off the Donner Boom arm is awesome! But the answer to your question is no. Your Samson Mic looks more like for desk top use. But if this mic has a screw hole at the bottom of the integrated desktop base, then your in luck Buddy. Hope this helps,…later!
