The color is not that strong at first but they it looks like a rainbow in the flames. My daughter loved it. One little package will only last 2 min though

Performs as described and the colors are beautiful!!! These packets couldn't be easier to use - just toss unopened packets into the fire..... the colors begin blossoming almost immediately and last a long time!! These were a huge hit at a recent camping event and will be bringing them to our upcoming Mountain Man Rendezvous (even though they aren't period correct - lol). Only use for campfires or in fire-pits where there will be no cooking over the flames.

I was surprised how long these last. I put a couple in on different sides and it was fun to watch the colors blend.

For a bigger show of colors I used two packages at once. The colors lasted longer than I thought they would. We enjoyed it.

They do just like they said. You get a very volorful fire. We had a bigger fire than usual still inside the fire can in the campground, and added 3 at one time . Beautiful. You do not want to take your eyes off the fire, because you may miss a different color. We will take them on our next camp out for sure. Price was reasonable for what we got. No bad smell and really easy to use.

I got these for the same reason I buy a lot of stuff, my kids saw it at another kids house and we had to have it! These don't last that long and are mildly entertaining. Might be fun to open all 12 adn spray them on a fire (unsafe I'm sure) but other than that it's a short-lived novelty.

I got these for my Son-in-law for Xmas but forgot he was color blind! He loves building fires & we had something similar when I was a kid & I was excited when I discovered these. We all got a good laugh, then he said it would be special for he & their 5 yr old daughter. It's April now & he made the first fire pit fire of the year, & WOW! She loved it, & even he could see the purple & blues. The rest of us saw greens & reds too. The packet can't be opened & spread but the coals can be moved so the colors were more spread out. He happily used 3, and will be getting more this summer.
