2nd use and no foam/froth
I was excited to get this yesterday. This morning I place the cold milk reservoir on the machine, grounds in the "portafilter", press latte and get....espresso. Double check the manual. Decide to make a cup for hubby using a pod in case it's my espresso grounds causing the issue. Press latte.... same thing! I looked at milk reservoir and could see the milk trying to rise in the tube but not actually going all the way up, just "bouncing" in the tube. WTH?! I wait for it to finish and then press the manual froth button... milk is drawn up and comes out into the cup. So apparently the automatic frothing doesn't work, which was the whole reason I got the machine. Seriously disappointed. I checked the trouble shooting and even went to manufactures website... they don't have support for the espresso machine! Only online support is for kettles and fryers. Guess I'll be returning this. I'm really bummed and angry I waited a week for this to arrive just for it not to work. TLDR: auto frothing doesn't work at all, only manual frothing.

Game Changer! The 20 bar Italian pump is the only way to go!
If you are looking for the best espresso machine, that is easy to make cappuccinos and lattes, this is it!Before buying this one, I had another brand with a similar design. It was a 15bar pump and make good Lattes, but this machine that comes with a 20 bar pump, and 1350W is far superior. Why?Well, for one thing the 15 bar machine did not extract the coffee flavor as well. So it's definitely worth paying for the 20 bar pump! And the 1200W machine just does not heat up the coffee water enough to make a hot cup. So you really do need 1350W!The froth option is also ideal and this machine makes good froth! Plus you can "ad froth" easily ...And the "clean button" works fast and does a good job. In fact, I like using a milk container to make froth vs uses a steaming stick, because I just press buttons, which is easier. And as I said, this machine makes good froth very quick....But here's another benefit I did not expect: This Chefman (20 bar pump) machine does such a good job extracting the coffee -- without burning the beans -- that I don't need to use the large size coffee press to get a strong brew. Consequently, I use less 50% less coffee, and this machine make a great cup, which means I will save 50% or buying coffee! To say the least, I never knew I could make such good lattes and cappuccinos at home. So I highly recommend this 20 bar machine!

I was skeptical due to reviews, but it is definitely a keeper.
The media could not be loaded. I was really skeptical about purchasing this because of all the bad reviews. But I am happy to report my machine works perfect.I was a bit upset to receive a used (1st 👎) machine since I paid for a brand new one. But I will deal with that separately.I used the nespresso capsules and made my first cup of latte. That's after I had primed it 3 times with water.I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't have any issues making a 4th cup of coffee back to back since this seem to be one of the issues brought up by other customers. Saying that they could one make 2 cups before it had issues.I didn't have the issues of the pump not working, but I believe this was due to being pre used as I followed a YouTube video that had to prime his about 3 times to get it to work. Mines started it the first time I selected an option, which verified my concern of it being used. Another thing that confirmed this was used was that there were particles in the water from water calcification. So I would definitely recommend never using tap water, it will help your machine to run smoother longer.I have not tried it with grounds yet so I can speak on that.My latte was made with a nespresso capsules starbucks blond. And the flavor was smooth. The other second 👎 for me was that the double shot only makes about 4oz, which a normal latte should at least 8oz and a double should be 16oz. So that is my one huge 👎 on this product.HOWEVER, for the price I guess I can live with having to replace a capsule and pushing a button one more time. And I would definitely not use the same capsule because the cup of coffee might be too weak but, I am just guessing. I will have to try it and see how it taste. will update on this.I would definitely recommend this product, and also would get the extra $30 for warranty just in case. I have made other purchases with the warranty and it definitely paid off.

Might break the Starbucks Stranglehold
I'm one of these guys that regularly tries to steal my life back from Starbucks, ditch the expense and waiting in line. I've bought many cappuccino machines to this end - expensive ones, fancy ones, and usually, within a month or so, I'm back in line with the other plebs for my fix. Reasons: other machines were too big, too messy, too noisy, with uneven resultsBut this little machine might do the trick. Clocking in at less than 200 dollars, it's essentially plastic but engineered well, it does pump out 20 pounds of pressure, and always makes good shots. The froth system is compact, and you're thinking "no way this is gonna be any good." But it is. They've got all the bases covered. The machine is compact, and you don't look up to find your espresso mess extending over half a kitchen countertop, like some of the pricy big boys.
