Wow! What a pair of beautiful towels. These are extremely soft, heavy, very high quality towels, let's get that straight.So if you are looking for a tremendous looking and feeling towel to decorate your towel rack, this is it.However, this towel is terrible at actually drying. You are basically just smearing the water on your body. And it will not dry your hair. It wont pull it out, because it is so smooth, but it wont dry it.Extra note: They come packaged in those super cheap Chinese looking plastic bags, so no matter how good they actually are, they look like typical cheap Chinese garbage. (They are not, they just look that way in the bag) Anyway, wrap a bow around it or something, anything other than the Chinese plastic bag presentation.

This is my last set of towels as I am old. I was so happy to find one with organic cotton (grown in USA I think) and made in GA where I was living. I have only washed the towel once and was so disappointed to see the end come unstitched. I don't have access to a sewing machine and money is tight but I might have to take it to get stitched. I haven't contacted the company yet but I will, this should not have happened. Other than that I love the color (pale green) and it is soft and absorbent.

This is the only brand of hand/bath towel I can find that is still made in the USA and what a difference! They may not be as soft as the ubiquitous Chinese made junk but they are durable, tightly woven, heavy and substantial. During my childhood in the 1960’s all towels in this country were made like this and it was like recovering a lost gem to have found them.

I found these on some ~best towels you can buy on the internet~ list and they did not disappoint. In retrospect I probably wouldn't get white again because i'm always getting makeup on them, but even still, I bleach them and it's not a problem. I think to describe them as 'plush' might be misleading. When you think 'plush' you might think of something super soft like a stuffed animal. I definitely think they are better than what you'd find in most hotels, but they aren't the kind that you have to wash 5 times with vinegar in order to get them to be water absorbent. That's what I call to mind when i think of a super plush towel. These are somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. Regular but great towels.

I buy USA made products when I can, and there are lots out there to buy. Went looking for towels made in the USA and discovered these online and then came to Amazon to purchase. I've also bought colored sets. I wash them first and of all the towels I've had, these get the water right off you after a shower, unlike my other towels which it's just seems like constant drying off. Stitching is solid, cotton soft. I highly recommend.

Update: I have been using these towels for well over two years now. They have stood the test of time!! Yes, I use them daily and wash them regularly. They even withstand the 'abuse' I give them of using them draped over my head to steam my face. I pour boiling water into a large stock pot then drape the towel over my head to steam. Unfortunately, I do this pretty regularly as well (unfortunate because I need to do it to calm migraines or take the edge off at the very least). I would never do this with any other towel at this point. I love that it is organic and no off gassing or pesticides etc... so when I'm breathing steam in this is really important to me! -End of update-I adore these towels. Everything you want in a towel: plush, soft, cozy, large, and excellent water absorbency. Cotton is the most pesticide laden crop that exists, so it is great to find such a wonderful towel made with organic cotton at a reasonable price. I have had them for 11 months and they are holding up wonderfully. I highly recommend these towels.

Bought these, washed and tried them out and ordered them again- HOORAY- a generous and thirsty hand towel that feels great and like it will last. I will update this in a year because twenty years ago, my MIL gifted us with what might have been the last set of bath and hand towels made in the USA before these mills restarted, and we still have those towels while a whole bunch of crap towels have been turned to garage rags. Am hoping these hold up. Good for you for turning out what appears to be quality thus far.

Largely as advertised, though there's no actual way to know if the cotton is really certified organic or not since they don't provide any 3rd party certification reference like you'd find on organic food, IE "USDA Organic, certified by Quality Assurance International". Measurements are about 30 & 1/2" by 52" but it makes it to 54" if you stretch it or hold it tight. Soft and fluffy towels, maybe not the thickest but thick enough to do the job.

These towels are a little more expensive than some others but they are softer and more absorbent than others and really are brilliant white. I recommend these towels.

These towels are very soft, a good thickness and look quite elegant. I gave them four stars rather than five because on their first washing some of the loops pulled and needed to be trimmed with scissors. Hopefully that will only happen the once.

These are the best towels i buy, i tried before with egiptian cotton but nothing compared with these organic cotton ones! These are soft and absorbent, great, i will buy again
