A Very useful kitchen tool: M/s POWERTECH INDUSTRIES, designed an appropriate grater blade head , adaptable to certain portable 3.6V re-chargeable lithium powered cordless hand operated power tools of different makers , having similar functionality .They transform such tool to a successful coconut grater / scraper for home kitchens as a product with one year warranty. Effective performance: This tool grates , scrapes solid mass of coconut from its shell that cut broken in two halves .One can operate this tool by one hand , while holding broken half coconut shell bearing mass , in the other . Coconut gratings come out in form of flakes of approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch in length . The thickness , length,size n texture of the coconut scraps those fall off from the blade head while scraping , varies depends on the pressure that you apply with the tool on coconut mass. Moderate pressure works out well.A few days handling would make you familiar with the usage of this tool . On opening package , found the box containing the scraper properly packed .Charged the tool with the charger and cable provided. Indicator lamp glowed red when plugged in and it took about an hour time to reach full charge. Indicator lamp turned white in colour on full charge.It may take about 10-12 minutes to grate one coconut that cut into two halves. Safety Features : 1. It is not an AC powered and so is not a continuously running one. 2. It works only when you trigger it to ON , applying pressure with thumb or fingers on the power ON switch. 3. Tool is powered by 3.6V re-chargeable lithium batteries . 4. It works in clockwise motion only which enables the cutter to grate.Anticlockwise rotation does not grate .So is locked by modifying the basic unit .Pressure applied down wards ensures good scrapping .Sideways do not.You have to maintain grasp of the Coconut shell in your handhold accordingly. 5. This tool is operable with hands of those with steady fingers, not with shaky fingers or hand , as is the case with any and all hand operated power tools. General: Prior to placement of order, made enquiry with , M/s POWERTECH INDUSTRIES .They confirmed One year warranty .Also they did assure through mail via Amazon that replacement parts for this Smart Coconut Grater viz; Scraper blade head ,PCB,DC Motor etc. would also be made available on post Warranty , on need basis. It greatly matters for their tagged price ₹2350/- plus ₹75/- for shipping ,while placing order. Item was sold and packaged by Powertech Electrical stores and shipped by Amazon.Got item delivery ,on 21-12-2025. Incorporation of one additional switch to isolate batteries would be ideal , for increased safety , while the tool is not in use. A Good Buy: Review is being made after about 3 weeks of use.Overall this tool makes coconut grating an easy task. You won’t probably turn back for any traditional one or others when this tool is near by ,in working mode, for home needs.

Two days review.. 1. Quite impressed with packaging.10/10 2. Build quality is top class. 10/10 3. Ease of use 8/10 4. Battery life I have grated two full cocconuts will surely update as of now I will give 9/10 5. grater head. My personal opinion is i would love to have the flower type grater head. Than what is provided with this. But the one coming in the package also serves the purpose. 8/10. 6. Weight manageable 8/10 7. Impressed with ctype charger from portronics. Some Cons- users have to grip both the machine and the cocconut and apply bit of strength. Or the machine tends to slip. As is mentioned in no 5 if the grater head, definitely not a deal breaker. Over-all it's a fantastic product I loved it. Will update this space after more experience.

Supreme quality. Worth the buy and serves the purpose very well.

You need to have good hand strength to use this product. For old people at home it’s hard to hold the coconut in one hand and use the scrapper. I do not recommend this product

The product is easy to use . It minimalise the time and effort when compared to ordinary coconut scraper. Moreover, Good performance and user friendly. Thanks to the manufacturer.
