Rock Solid Pen-Great for taking short notes here and there
I was a little skeptical when i bought this pen because i was afraid it would fall off it's cap, man was i wrong. It's been 8 months and it's never came loose (knock on wood). I work in IT so im stopped a lot by people "i need this, i need that, this and that isn't working". And yes i do always tell them to put in an IT work order ticket :) Bottom line is I care about my users and i want to take care of all their needs, but i can't remember everything they tell me when im stopped by one of them in the hall. And let's face it, pulling out your phone, unlocking it, and opening up your notes app just takes too long especially if u have to do this several times a day. I know this is going to sound weird to a lot of people but this pen writes on human skin really great, even in cold weather. So i use this pen to jot down small one or two word notes on my hand ("handnotes", get it :) This pen is solid and small and can fit in your pocket or u can have it on your keychain and have it dangle back and forth when u are walking without having to worry that it will come off it's cap. Yea it's pricey but totally worth!!

Great EDC Pen
I bought this to go on my key chain so I could make sure to always have a pen on me. I need them a lot on the weekends when people sign rental agreements for my company and I wanted to make sure I had one on me for school as I go to class between work so I don't bring a backpack and don't always have room in my pockets for one full size. This will ensure that I have one at all times for work and school. It was a bit longer than I was expecting (I'll try to post a pic to show in the customer images) about 3.8 inches long, but it's long enough to write with comfortably and short enough to be carried. So you don't have to keep it on a keyring and it would work fine just sitting in your pocket or coin pocket if you don't like having it on your key ring. The cartridge itself is very well made and so is the outside case. You can really tell how thick it is when you take it apart and I don't think you'll have any problems with leakages. It is not as hard to pull off as some have said, although I am a little above average strength, but still what do you expect with something that's made to go on a key ring?

Nice pen! Writes great! Only 2 negatives....
So far so good. I originally had the True Utility TelePen for a couple years. Loved it!. It lost the ability to stay in the cap and fell off. Couldn't find it. Bought a new Telepen, but that one fell of and got lost within 2 weeks! Figured I'd try something different. So far, so good. This pen is more comfortable to use and writes much better than the Telepen. The ink cartridge doesn't seem to dry as quick as the TP (Telepen) did either. The Fisher is much more comparable to a real pen vs the TP. So far I only have 2 "complaints" #1 I wish it was smaller! For me, the TP was perfect size wise. I only use the pen on rare occasions...like to cross out items on grocery list while shopping. I'm not going to write a novel with a keyring pen!! The pen is a tad bit too long and big around for my taste. It's not huge, but it's not super compact either. #2 WHY can these pens not be made with a SCREW ON cap??? Yes, the Fishers cap holds on tightly to the pen, but IMHO, it would be more secure with a screw top.

My daily pen
I originally purchased the Fisher Trekker Space Pen almost three years ago to provide an easily accessible writing implement while geocaching. What began as a hobby pen has turned into my daily writing instrument, always at my belt loop. I currently own both the chrome and matte black versions of this pen to match my business attire and have never heard a complaint from my bosses. The finish is professional and the writing is excellent. I have never had to draw "scribbles" to get the ink flowing. The pen writes in every position imaginable, even on wet paper (log books, soggy napkins), some plastics, and rubber. It's like writing with a super fine tip permanent marker without the bleed through. My kids (ages five and seven) always ask to borrow it while at restaurants after breaking the crayons. The pen is a little shorter than your typical ball-point once extracted from the lid and may seem a bit odd to use at first, but the length is not so small that a comfortable writing position cannot be held unlike many of the "mini" pens I have used in the past. Unless you have extremely large hands, this pen will suit you well. One of the best perks is that the ink never runs dry until the cartridge dies. In the last three years I have replaced the cartridge twice. Not bad for pen that gets used every day. If I was to have only one pen in my life, this would be it.

Works well for me.
The excellent writing properties of Fisher Space Pens in damp and unusual writing conditions are well known. I keep the Trekker clipped to an outside, mesh pocket on my bicycle handlebar bag where it is always handy when I am geocaching. Geocaches often have damp logs and Fisher Space Pens are the only pens that I have found that will always write on them. I have had no problems with pen parts vibrating loose or unscrewing themselves (things like that happen in bicycle handlebar bags). The Trekker would be a little handier for me if the cap would fit over the opposite end of the pen when writing...not a big deal, but inconvenient.UPDATE 10/23/2012: This pen continues to work well for me, but a few weeks ago the carabiner broke while I was out riding. The silver colored metal part that opens and closes started feeling a little "odd" that day and after a few geocache searches, it fell off in my hand...I have never had that happen before...had that happened while it was attached to the bag while I was riding, the pen would have been lost. Fortunately I had a spare carabiner with me, but that should not have happened.

Great for the price I paid for it
I got it for about €25, which makes it a great gadget for travellers. However, don't get ripped of for €45+. It's definately not worth that amount of money.
