The triple-stitched elastic waistband is very comfortable and secured with a tie. The fabric is nicer knit than what you usually see on sweatpants or shorts. It has good weight to it, hangs well, and is not see-through. It has enough stretch to be very comfortable and to keep its shape. The in-seam side pockets are deep enough to securely hold my cellphone. The back patch pocket is not very roomy or secure so I won't be using it. I love the longer length of the legs on these shorts! It means I can move and stretch and still keep my bum covered. This is a quality piece of clothing at a very good price point.

The fabric is soft and comfortable. They aren't tight, but they aren't "roomy" either. I wish they were a little more "relaxed" fit. The waistband is tighter than I expected. They wash and dry well.

I have been searching for shorts for quite a while. I have quite a few requirements; that they fit, that they have pockets, they are stretchy not rigid, no logos, 10 inch inseam and are lightweight. Turned out they are difficult to find. These are pretty close. There is a logo, but it is pretty small. 5'4", 155 pounds and a large fits fine. The fabric is heavy and thick so not exactly cool in hot weather but the closest I have found. Ordered a second pair!

These are a very good fit; comfortable and stretchy without looking baggy .Would recommend.

I bought a size larger than my normal size because I had read other reviews saying the fit was tight and small. I disagree with them. I should of got my size instead of a larger size. They do have a smell to them, hopefully that will go after a few washes. Soft material and well made.
