The screw in handle and silent drive are huge upgrades that makes a good reel at a moderate price a real great deal. I use my 1000 series for ultralight fishing and a companion spinning outfit to a Daiwa Legalis 2000 LT. I have several fishing trips using this reel and it performs flawless- exceeds my expectations...love the smooth, precise drag when larger fish than my target species invariably strike my lure. I have nothing negative to say about this reel...PS...I am a life long angler of 77 years, so this is one of fifty to a hundred reels I have owned and used...not a novice...

I own a couple of Sedona's and I am in love with them. The Sahara is a step up so I am sure I will have zero complaints. I intend to order more.

I was excited about this product. My old reel finally but the dust. I received the box on my doorstep and raced to open it. It was light. Never have I had a reel this light! Upon opening, it revealed nothing. The reel box was empty and after a conversation with Amazon, they can't process a refund right now. I have to call them back in two days to get it taken care of. The box is durable and rugged but not worth the money without a reel in it.

・全体的な印象として、「初心用」として1式セットで販売されているリールよりは良い　→○・管釣り用に、軽さ(商品重量)を重視して購入。　ロッドを振っても、リールの重さにつられて"持っていかれる（ブレる）"印象ない。　また、全く釣れないような日に朝~夕でも疲れない。　→◎・スプーンが距離飛ばなくなったので、ドラグを緩め直したことが何回も。　勝手に締まるなんて、考えにくいけど・・・。　→△・他のレビューにもあったように、時々「シャリシャリ」する。　巻いてる途中にロッドを立てる→倒すを繰り返してたら、解消することが多かった。　これも謎。　→△

初心者です。高いリールは使ったことがないので比較はできませんが、なんの問題もありません。いい商品だと思います。

この値段でこの機能、初心者から中級者位なら十分だてと思います。静かですし滑らかです。
