Beefy and short, works better than the stock system (97 Jeep Wrangler TJ)
This unit is what you need when you do a tummy tuck on your Jeep TJ, beefy and short. You need to make a bushing to fit the original transfer case shifter hole though, easy to do, use a small section of a pipe if you cannot machine one

A significant improvement over the original linkage.
This linkage shifts really easy and smooth from 2-wheel, 4-wheel high, and to 4-wheel low. My old shifter wasn't getting into 4-wheel high, but the new one is. Works smooth as butter and has fixed my trouble. Wasn't too hard to put on but did take approximately 2 hours. I think it is easiest to start with bolting the lever onto the transfer case first and angling it up and forward and fit it onto the transfer case sprocket, get the adjusting rod (turnbuckle) flat, and getting the lever that connects to the shifter at a 1oclock position and bolt it to the shifter handle while in 4-wheel low. We had to wiggle the shifter through neutral and 2 wheel high to get it to fall into place and all bolted up. Remember the adjuster rod all goes on the driver's side of the levers. It is a 2-person job, and we had to cut the original part out with a Sawzall and pry with a crowbar.

Works great for YJ Wrangler too
I used this on my 1992 YJ wrangler. It isnt designed for this application but it worked fine. I used the OEM linkage on the t-case and bolted this one to the shifter. I will say the new linkage (t-case side) fit a little looser than the original. I'm sure it would have worked but I liked the tighter fit of my original parts, so I used it. The rest of this kit is beefy. This took all the slop out of my aging, rusted, OEM linkage. It clicks very firmly into gear now which is fine by me.

It will work but you’ll have to make adjustments
Fitment was odd, no instructions, looks ok and kind of functions , gotta really play with it to get it to work properly.

Big improvement over the stock YJ linkage!
This was perfect for my YJ! I was having issues with my linkage on my 94 YJ and after some research and talking to people on some forums. I got this which wasn’t that hard to install it’s just a matter of removing the old one and installing this one. This one is way beefer than the stock stuff. It solves a lot of issues that the stock linkage fails at. Make sure when swapping this on that you install it just like the old was So it goes on without any issues. I have some pictures somewhere on my phone that I’ll post. Before I get don’t worry about the brand because they are all pretty much the same. This one will save some money and works just as good as the more expensive ones. It’s well constructed you won’t have any issues.

Good Shift Linkage for XJ
Works great, once I could figure out how to install it. Apparently my setup was somewhat unique with a 231 transfer case and TJ style shifter in my 1993 XJ. I spent an hour trying to install this different ways and could not get it to line up. There is a diagonal tab cut in the upper bracket which attaches to the shifter, which had to be bent out and then it will line up properly. Would have helped to have some instructions with it explaining this but overall satisfied.

Needs trimming, they don't tell you about that
I have a 97 XJ with a 231 transfer case. The arm that goes on the transfer case needed the width trimmed down a few mm. More than half the distance from the side of the 3 holes to the edge. The key hole rectangle is also too large, both too wide and long. So before bolting it down, then arm could slide up and down but also like 10 degrees back and forth. It seems ok after the tightening the nut on, but the factory key hole fit like a glove. Not sure what they're trying to achieve but it took way longer than necessary to bolt this on. We'll see what happens later on down the line. The rest of the pieces were fine and fit well.

Best $20 I’ve spent in a good minute
I bought this because azzydesigns was sold out and my transfer case was stuck in 4H because the factory linkage had fallen out of its bushing. Honestly I'm pretty impressed by the build quality as well as the fit and finish. I got it for a fraction of the cost and it was super easy to install just remove old shifter by prying the linkages out of the levers unbolt the t case lever and install the new shiny bits I shifted the t case lever all the way up and back towards the rear of the vehicle and set the new bracket at 1 o clock tightened it down and everything else fell right in you’ll have to play with the floor shifter and the center adjustment point on the connecting rod I screwed mine all the way in and adjusted out until my lever lined up with the shift pattern on the floor it shifts like butter now!
