Will it hold a car key? I’m looking for something to hang on the car whilst I swim

Mine didn't come with the strap but from the description and images looks like it would do the job. I think I'd be tempted to keep it out of sight but then you've got to be able to move the buttons to the right code.

How do you remove the rope once in?

A small catch inside the safe, only accessible when the box is unlocked, releases the ends of the rope and it can be completely removed.

How does it lock? Have set the code, but when I close it it doesn't automatically lock and I can't see anythingvto adjust

I think you have to change the number to lock it. If you keep the 'unlocking code' in position it will, of course, stay unlocked
