Let's be honest, I bought these knives because of their look/pattern. And here's why: I am the Kitchen manager of a small nursing facility. As part of our Medicare compliance we need to have a viable emergency plan in place that includes evacuation and a 3-day supply of food. These knives are part of that plan. We haven't even used them, but based on the reviews I know they will be sharp to meet our immediate needs if we have to evacuate. I needed a set of knives that looked nothing like anything we own so I could put them into our emergency evacuation bins and if they ever got taken out, I would know where they came from!

I can see why people giving these knifes 5 stars because not only does it looks good but it cuts very well. This is the best knives I have. I only bougth this because of the look but not only it look beautiful but it works well.

I've bought some highly recommended knives, but nothing sharper than these. The ease of handling and lighter weight makes these perfect for seniors. I bought some wings on sale and dreaded preparing them for the air fryer.In the past, I would have to break the joint then use the knife for separating the wing from the drumette. No need to break the joint anymore just use the knife. WOW!

Not many items beat expectations in the world of shopping. This is one of the few that actually beat my expectations enough to change my own behavior. I bought these to make food prep easier for my partner. I started cooking more because of the sharpness of the knives translated into ease of food prep.

Blades are sharp as they should be right out of the box. The handles they claim are light weight to assist female users is rather laughable advertising if you ask me. The handles may help those women who are weak due to medical issues but their advertising is a way to gloss over the fact the handles are a light weight plastic.The designs are pretty but will need to wait and see how long it lasts and hopefully doesn't come off on the food due to use or sharpening.Balance is acceptable.The price was reasonable for what you get.If you just want a new basic knife set for your home kitchen it's worth a try. If you will use these knives daily or for heavy duty work, you may want to invest a bit more for a higher quality set with better overall design.Time will tell overall.
