Cos De BAHA Tranexamic Acid 5% Serum 2 Fl Oz – Niacinamide 5%, Hyaluronic Acid & Aloe for Brightening, Dark Spots & Uneven Tone, Remover Melasma (60 ml)

I have been using this serum for 3 weeks in the morning and at night. I’ve had melasma since my last pregnancy over ten years ago and it gets worse after being in the sun and during the hot seasons. I came back from vacation and had lots of brown spots on my cheekbones despite wearing a hat. In the past I had success with a product that’s no longer available over the counter because the active ingredient has been band in the USA except by prescription (hydroquinone). I searched for a good product with a high percentage of tranexamic acid and niacinamide and this has both at 5% which is the highest I found of each. I really don’t want to pay to see a dermatologist at this point unless I have to. As you can see in the picture the serum is nice and thick enough to stay in a blob on your finger unlike another inexpensive brand’s serums that fall through your fingers like water. This serum is thick but still light. It soaks into the skin easily. I have sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother me at all. It does not pill under other creams or makeup. It’s very moisturizing. Most importantly, it’s making a big difference already after three weeks!! The skin has lightened and is looking much brighter in general. I will finish the bottle and report back! Pros: Inexpensive Light Soaks in Doesn’t pull under creams or makeup Not sticky Great for dry skin Great for sensitive skin Makes a visable difference in 2 weeks 5% active ingredients Nice bottle and dropper Safe ingredients Cons: It won’t make dark spots disappear as fast as a prescription cream would It’s so light it seems almost too light Not instant results Tips: use glycolic acid every 3 days. Tretinion will also help but is prescription only. Retinol is a good substitute. Hydroquinone works faster but is prescription only and expensive, it also has health risks and you shouldn’t use for more than three months as a time. My advise is to start with this serum first before deciding if you need to spend the money. It’s working for me, so happy to have found it!

I am not a verified purchaser. I do not make commissions. I am just a regular person. Tried a lot of products to reduce dark spots on my chest from sun damage. This product does actually work. But the results are very subtle. I apply this product liberally twice a day had to use it for at least 30 days before I saw much improvement but there is some lightning of the dark spots. Would recommend as a good value for the price.

I haven't been using this long enough to comment on whether it works for pigmentation. But I can tell you that it pills up worse than any other product I have ever used. You can NOT use this during the day. It cannot be applied with any other product. It will pill immediately. And when I say pill, I mean PILL. Remember when you were a kid and you put Elmer's glue on your hand and let it dry then peeled it off ? That's the kind of pilling I'm talking about, like big visible chunks. Like fully seizes and rolls up and right off your face at the slightest touch. Like, gotta go wash your whole face and start all over kind of chunky pilling. I'd say you could apply it at night, with nothing else and not touch your face and maybe get the use out of it that way? But in no other way is this product practical to use due to the pilling.

I highly recommend it. It contains a lot of tranexamic acid, which helps reduce skin aging and melanin levels, brightening skin tone.

In Verbindung mit Micro-Needling und im Zusammenspiel mit täglicher Pflege mit Alpha-Arbutin, Niacinamid und Azelainsäure nach einigen Wochen fast vollständige Entfernung von echt starken Pigmentflecken (Altersflecken) auf den Handrücken. Bitte Geduld und Ausdauer haben, Anwendung zwei mal täglich, dauert schon einige Monate, aber die Flecken kamen ja auch nicht über Nacht… Needling alle 14 Tage, je nach Hauttyp bis zu 1mm Tiefe möglich. Vorsichtig rantasten, mit 0,25mm anfangen. Wird etwas blutig bei 1mm Tiefe, sieht aus wie Schürfwunden, Haut geht ab wie nach Sonnenbrand. Immer LSF 50 als UV-Schutz auf die behandelnden Flächen!!! Und das dann auch permanent, nachdem die Flecken weg sind, dann kommen auch keine neuen.

Je vois un petit changenment mais pas encore convaincu.
