Strung Peacock Herl for Fly Tying or Tying Flies

If I could rate this a ZERO i would. Product description says its 10" in length, sorry but it is only 6 inches. It also says its a 1/8 oz, not even close, try half that. The second picture I posted of the two packages, one was bought at a local fly shop the other from Amazon for the same price. The one on the left is from the fly shop, the one on the right is the one from Amazon. The Amazon supplied one is garbage. The herl is tiny, twisted not even usable. Don't buy this you will be disappointed. In my 45 years of fly tying I never bought such poor quality peacock herl.

Some have commented on poor quality but that was NOT the case with my order. It worked beautifully on size 16 nymphs.

Maybe I got a bad batch but the herl was hardly existent, the herl itself was very short mostly just got stems with very little hackle on it.
