Design Works Crafts 2569 Needlepoint Kit, Butterflies Galore, 5" X 7" Needlepoint Kit Butterflies Galore

My cousin will be teaching me how to do needlepoint, so I got this as an easy introduction to this lovely craft. My mom was an expert, but could not teach it to me as she was left handed. Love the blue, the butterfly design, and the portability of the kit. Everything you need is provided.

I bought this for my daughter to learn on, I am having to do the outlines so that she can do the fill ins. It is a nice kit and I'm enjoying it. Nicely stamped, I think it will be pretty when done.

Great for beginners like myself.

Wanted to try needle point so I got this one glad I did it's a good one for beginners , easy instructions and every thing you need came with it I like how it's coming out.

I got it for my granddaughterto have something to do that did not have a screen. We picked it out together and she has worked on it. It is easy, and is going to be beautiful.

The print is not centered on the canvas, which makes it incredibly difficult to stitch straight using the Continental stitch. I thought I could make it work, but it’s too much of a pain. Will be returning.

This is an easy pattern (yarn is more forgiving than thread) and was a good way for me to test my arthritic hands to see if I could still do these types of projects. The problem was that the pattern is stamped so crooked that to cover all the blue background and make it an even sided rectangle), I ran out of yarn and now have to find a color/texture match or pull out all I've done & do the entire background in a different color. I have done hundreds of these in my life and never ran short of yarn/thread on a packaged product. I also recommend that you pull one strand of yarn (use 2, instead of three) for the antenna (the recommended 3 is two thick to look it's best.)
