This review is for the Carson Clip and View Pop-Up Retractable 7X Aspheric Keychain Magnifier.Item was purchased in October for $6.99. Price paid is listed for future reference of the price point.The item does what it says it will. Magnification is good and it is clear. The length of the main body of the item is approximately 1-1/2 inches and the width is 1-1/8 inch. It is compact and nicely finished. The small button in the corner releases the pop-up. It works well. I am not certain the keychain part is that sturdy.

9/4/24 UPDATE: Carson is alert and responsive. They read my initial review, reached out about the problem, and sent me a new magnifier, free of charge. That’s outstanding customer service. My rating has voluntarily and happily been upgraded to 5-Stars accordingly.—————The lens is fine but the protective leather pouch was torn, separates from the lens, and is useless. So, rather than a pocket/carry magnifier, this one goes into the desk drawer.

Product can be used as keychain and is useful to discover tiny details

My reading sight had gone and when I go out I usually forget my glasses so I can't read anything like dates on a box in the supermarket or a menu. I have this on my keyring and it helps me out a lot. It folds away neatly to protect itself from damage from other keys. Handy little piece of kit.
