Beautiful book ends, very well made.

I’m going for a simple muted look right now now and not only is the wood so rich on these but the rubber stoppers at bottom keep from scratching your shelves and hold your heavy books steady! Love them! Great purchase!

I needed a bookend that could support large heavy books that would not slip and also look good. These bookends do the job quite well. On the proper surface, they do not slip. The wood is attractive and well-finished. My only complaint is that a very minor slight "ding" in the lower corner of the wood is present on 2 of them (I currently have 3 sets and have ordered 2 more). I believe that this wood injury occurred during manufacturing or packing and is not related to shipping. I turned them around and the efficiency outweighs this small cosmetic defect!Update: I now have 6 sets. Highly recommended. No additional problems with finish quality either.Update: I now have 12 sets total - a pair for each book shelf.
