Stay comfortable and cool in the laid-back lines of ECCO's Turn GTX boot. This handsome look in leather boasts contrast stitching for a casual vibe and a chukka-inspired silhouette for classic lines. A grippy sole and inner padding offer falter-free footwork wherever you roam in ECCO. ECCO is a European shoe company founded in Denmark in 1963. Today they own and operate factories throughout Europe and Asia. They produce all the leather used in making Ecco shoes, taking measures to protect the environment at the same time. Their sole aim is to make a comfortable walking shoe.

Snug fit, weird brown
Let me start off by saying that I buy Ecco because I have wide feet and shoes for wide feet are generally awful. These boots are true to size and just a touch snug in the toe. You don't need to size up or down. I bought a 44 since that's what Ecco size always works for me and it's fine. The coffee color however is off. It looks a little reddish in the pics but in person it's more of a grayish brown almost black. I'm hoping these break in and distress nicely.Side note, this is a semi matte finished shoe and it kinda looks cheap (like Dr Scholls dress shoes). I plan on wrecking these through daily use so not much of an issue but seemed worth sharing.

My favorite leather shoes so far
Bought this boot/shoe for a 2-week trip to Europe. I usually wear Ecco size 43 and this fit exactly as I had expected in a size 43. I've had the shoes for over a month now and they are my "everything" shoe, that is, I wear them for everything except the gym. They look great with jeans or dress pants. Wearing them every day to work, all day. Walked all over Madrid, Pamplona, Barcelona and Rome and they felt great. When climbing the paths above Monserrat I could feel the stones through the soles. For serious hiking, I recommend a thicker sole. I kept thinking I was scuffing them up but they looked great, still look great. I took a brush to them this week and they are like new.

Real quality boot. Light. Keep Dry. Fashionable. A bit snug.
This is another great Ecco shoe. If you think it's too pricey, think about going through 3 pairs of shoes before these guys give out.Quality:Best boot leather. Very strong. The inner Gortex lining keeps my feet dry, as advertised. The outer sole hasn't broke down yet and I've been wearing these every other day for the past year. Very difficult to scratch and scuff.Comfort:It's an Ecco shoe! The sole and arch support hold up very well over time. Nice and roomy for men with medium to wide feet. You can put inserts and don't feel like you're walking on volcanic rock. My feet sweat less with these boots. No chaffing on the ankle. Nice cushioned and soft lip on the ankle.Fit:My only gripe. They are a bit snug at the tip of the foot. The leather will eventually stretch and you will find a sweet spot of how tight to tie the laces.I would recommend this boot if you work in an office in the Fall time. Water proof, dark, and comfortable.

Never walk around a puddle again if you don't want to.
I can walk through puddles with these, no problem. We have been through such a long drought that when it started raining recently suddenly there were problems. I saw my foolish co-worker break out a small plastic bag with a dry pair of socks in them, and I realized there's a good idea somewhere in there. I needed a water proof barrier to keep my socks dry, while not having to carry them around like a complete dork and then have to change socks in the middle of the day. Gore-tex will keep my socks dry, and unlike a plastic bag, it will let my feet breathe. Sometimes when I walk through a puddle, I think I feel my feet getting wet but it is all in my head, because if I take these shoes off my feet will be dry. It's very nice, worth the extra buck. Gore-tex is not good when it is hot and dry outside, which it has been here for so long that I forgot how much I needed it when it started raining more seriously lately. I already had these in brown and ordered this pair after the rain became much worse. I ordered them in the usual European size as the other Eccos I have bought, all of which fit very nicely.

Clean and Comfortable!
This is my 5th pair of Ecco brand boots and, once again, I am very happy with them! The leather on this style is softer than I expected but still very durable. The soles are well made and all of the stitching is perfect. Because of my high arches, I use a custom insoles, but the ones that came with the boots are quite nice – thin layer of leather over an ECCO "Comfort Fibre System™" pad.The only thing I would change are the laces. However, the one's that come with the boots work well and don't seem to untie themselves.

These boots are very good...but not great.
I like the styling and the fact that they are Ecco and have GorTex. I didn't like that while they are comfortable, I hold Eccos to a higher standard of comfort than other shoes. While they are comfortable, I expected to feel like I was walking on pillows...didn't happen. The removable inserts look and feel cheap and I personally expected them to have more padding. Decent boot, but for the money I expected more.

Great boots
I initially ordered a different brand of Chukka boot, but the first ones didn't fit my thick feet. They were too tight around the middle even with the laces fully loosened. The ECCO GTX boot was my second choice (because of the cost) but they fit like a glove. These are amazingly comfortable boots. They fit my thick feet with the laces slightly loosened, but there is ample adjustment that they would likely fit average size feet as well. There is no break-in required with these boots. They fit and flex nicely right out of the box. I will use them for cold weather walks and easy hikes with my dog. They are attractive enough to use for business casual dress as well. I am a happy customer!

Standard great Ecco fit and comfort
I don't have a bunch of wear time on these shoes but they are very comfortable right out of the box. Not really surprised as I have two other pair of Ecco shoes although they are shoes and not boots. Great looking boot and comfortable. Good buy in my opinion.

Great Boot
Great Boot - stylish, very comfortable and light. Very happy with purchase. Can't comment on how waterproof they are because I haven't worn them in wet weather.

Consistency?
I had the identical product a couple of years ago. Same size too, so you would expect it to be the same. It's really on the small side and I feel the size up will be too large. Slightly different shape and material specs too. It has me wondering if this is the real product or an imitation.

Great boots however the picture makes the boot look more ...
Great boots however the picture makes the boot look more darker and was disappointed that the ankle support was not higher like the older version which really supports the ankle. However its still a good pair of boots, hope the rubber soles will last as other pairs have not lasted as long as all my other shoes.
