Game Changer!
I recently purchased the Large Basket Muzzle for my reactive dog, and I must say, it has been a complete game-changer! As a responsible pet owner, I wanted to ensure the safety of both my dog and those around us, especially in situations where my dog's reactivity could potentially be triggered. This muzzle has exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the size of the muzzle is perfect for my large breed dog. It fits securely and comfortably without restricting his ability to pant, drink water, or even take treats. The basket design allows for excellent airflow, ensuring that my dog remains cool and comfortable even during longer outings or training sessions. The build quality of this muzzle is outstanding. The durable yet soft material feels gentle against my dog's snout, preventing any discomfort or chafing. The adjustable straps provide a secure fit and are easy to fasten, ensuring that the muzzle stays in place without any risk of slipping off or becoming loose. One of the standout features of this muzzle is its design, which allows my dog to have a full range of motion with his mouth. He can still open his mouth wide enough to pant and drink water, which is crucial, especially during hot weather. Additionally, the spacious basket design ensures that he can still enjoy treats and rewards during training sessions, making it an effective tool for positive reinforcement. The muzzle has significantly improved our walks and interactions with other dogs and people. It gives me peace of mind, knowing that my dog cannot harm anyone or any other animal while we work on his reactivity. Moreover, it sends a clear signal to others that we are taking the necessary precautions and allows us to better manage potentially challenging situations.Cleaning the muzzle is a breeze too. I can easily wipe it down or rinse it off after each use, keeping it hygienic and ready for the next adventure. The sturdy construction ensures that it holds up well over time, making it a worthwhile investment. In summary, the Large Basket Muzzle has been an absolute lifesaver for my reactive dog. Its perfect fit, exceptional comfort, and thoughtful design have made a world of difference in our daily routines. If you have a reactive dog and are looking for a high-quality muzzle that prioritizes safety and comfort, I highly recommend this product.

Works well
Had no issues finding the right size with the sizing chart. When I took it out of the package I was skeptical but once we put it on our boy, it fit perfectly. It’s very durable and made super well. I love that it’s soft so that way he’s not able to hurt himself on it. And the straps are easy to adjust

My dog learned how to get it off.
it’s fantastic and the measurements are spot on! My Standard poodle 10 months old) can’t chew through it. Standard poodles are one of the smartest dogs that there is so it’s no surprise and it quite a while.\1 to truly he would learn to get it off but I usually catch him it’s no big deal but he kept eating socks and then having diarrhea everywhere not to be graphite so yeah I have to my phone occasionally or somewhat often it’s getting better I hope.

Straps don't stay
I would not recommend these if you purchasing them because you have an aggression issue. We ordered two of these as a last ditch effort to help correct and protect two dogs who continued to fight. It was our last resort and recommended by our vet. We hoped it would at least keep them from hurting each other and give us the time needed to separate them. Let me mention we kept the dogs separated unless we were with them and had slip leads on each dog in case of a fight. The basket seemed decent quality and they were easy to figure out and fit to the dogs. We fit each dog appropriately and tested them. We did wonder about how slick the strapping material is.We had another conflict and the muzzles slipped easily off first one dog then the other. After a rather traumatic effort to break up the fight we had to put one dog down and had multiple stitches and drain tubes in the other. Very disappointed in the choice of strapping material this company used.

Mixed bag overall with poor sizing recommendations
I do love the actual cage of the muzzle. It is perfect for my needs. I have an 85 lbs German Shepherd. I also have miniature goats, and one is separated from the herd long-term in the main yard where I let my dog out to exercise and use the bathroom. Given the goat is healing from a massive horn surgery, I have to put a muzzle on my dog when I let him out, because they will play together, and since goats use their head to play and dogs use their mouth, it was initially leading to the goat's wound reopening when the dog would play bite the head the goat was offering up to be bitten.Unfortunately, the steel-cage muzzle I was using wasn't quite good enough. Many months went by without incident, but a week or so ago, the goat's wound was reopened again. I realized that even though my dog's teeth couldn't penetrate, the steel-cage was hard enough that the goat was able to hit it with sufficient force that it broke open the wound. Those cloth muzzles are trash for large, protective, aggressive breeds, so I hunted for a hard plastic or rubber-caged muzzle, and settled on this one.I originally ordered a large, as my dog's snout measurements were 12" x 4", and according to the sizing chart, that is a large. A large is too small beyond doubt. The front of the cage dug into my dog's nose to a comical and very uncomfortable degree. I ordered the XL, and it fits better overall, although it still touches his nose completely, and doesn't seem very comfortable for that reason. Fortunately, my dog only wears it for about 5 minutes for bathroom breaks and maybe 20 or 30 for play sessions, but he definitely is irritated by it touching his nose, which compels him to try and rub it off. Given a lot of other reviewers noted that their dogs were indeed able to pull the muzzle off, I find it a huge design flaw to make it so snug against the dog's nose, which will encourage the dog to want to try and remove it. It does have a nice gap at the bottom for the dog to drink, pant, and even take a small treat. Now to the durability. First of all, I like the cage itself. It is well-made, and a perfect balance of being unbreakable but soft enough that it won't beat you up if the dog is hyper and prone to hitting you with it (or trying to play with a goat healing from surgery lol). With his old steel-cage muzzle, you really had to be careful. If he jumped up to lick you, you'd feel like you got punched in the face. Despite the sturdiness of the cage, the straps defeat the purpose. If I needed this muzzle because my dog wanted to kill the goats, I'd absolutely return it. Fortunately, my dog will not kill the goat if it fails, so it's grudgingly an acceptable compromise in my unique situation. The straps do not inspire confidence at all, as well as how they're attached to the cage. They are thin in terms of width and thickness, and the clasp feels and looks cheaply made, and itself is small and plastic. Despite the overall sturdiness of the cage itself, the holes where the straps pass through the cage are also ridiculously thin, and would be easy to break, I'm thinking, unless this material is some super plastic. At just over $20, I'm guessing not. So it's this weird mix of a wonderful cage other than being too short and a horribly flimsy means of strapping the wonderful cage to the dog's head.So if the stakes are high in your needs for a muzzle, absolutely do not get this one. An aggressive dog bent on doing harm could probably break this muzzle given it's multiple weak points of attachment and the flimsy straps, and I can see how other people's dogs were simply sliding out of it, because the way it attaches to the head isn't ideal, either. Fortunately, the shape of a german shepherd's head makes it difficult to slide out of (if tightened to the point it's almost uncomfortable, that is!) for this breed, but other breeds could easily slide it off with their paws or dragging it against the ground or other objects if motivated to work on it for a few minutes.

Sturdy
Works well. we removed the middle strap (kept sliding over her eye when she runs her face on the grass because she doesn’t love muzzles 😝) … and she has chomped no one while wearing this muzzle! (Yay) 🙌

Doesn't fit that great
I was hopeful with this at the beginning but didn't take my dog long to figure out how to slide it off over her head. They need to make something that attaches the muzzle to the collar to reinforce it because just to easy to get off.
