Chrome looks great. The sound is all around good. Not for bass heads, but the thwump is there. Sub-bass is light but that is the trade off for the earbuds not going in your ears.Playing Fallout: New Vegas in these right now. I like the soundstage.Comfortable to wear. since they are made out of metal, that helps them sit on the ear a bit more securely. Compared to the all plastic types.

Associated components: Apple 13 Pro and IFI Gobar, also standard Apple lightning to 3.5 mm. This is the first earbud I have bought other than what comes with a phone. I have a couple of IEM's which could be better, but I listen mostly to very good headphones or my speaker setup. The reason I bought them is that I use the Apple Earbuds while skiing; they are not a sealed fit and I can hear people and sounds around me as soon as I drop the volume. I decided to see if I could improve on them so I did some research and found the FF3. The FF3 is a substantial improvement filling out the mids and upper bass dramatically better than the Apple earbuds: Apple 3/10, Fiio FF3 6.5/10. The FF3 comes with spongy tuning covers which also help the buds stay in the ear, I have no complaint with fit at all, they are very comfortable. There are 3 types of cover, one with a hole on the speaker side for forward treble which I don't like. Standard which I am using and a thicker one for bass emphasis - have not tried these. The cable that comes is pliable and does not tangle easily, the termination is 3.5 or 4.4 balanced and the fittings are solid. I think the 4.4 is more for convenience than sound quality. The sound is very good and is better than I had expected. I do find the treble a bit brittle and when I switch back to $1600 headphones there is a lot more there, but it's an unfair comparison and for my purposes I am very pleased. I am going to burn them in for a week and see if the there is any improvement. Update if there is.

Great value. Solid and relatively comfortable. The sound quality is surprisingly good for the money. I like them alot.

Box was opened and in terrible condition, the three little bags with the foam ear pads were also open and the earbuds came with a pair of foam pads already placed by someone else. Not a new product, but otherwise it seems to work well and the earbuds themselves don't seem broken. I am naturally disappointed that I paid for something new and it came used.

The sound is above average. They match well with Fiio devices. What were they thinking when they designed these suckers. They are very large and won't fit most ears. The copious array of ear pad accessories are virtually useless. They're functional but that's it.

The bass and sound of these distorts badly at full volume. These do not scale well at all when used with better equipment. VE Monks Plus ound better than these at 1/10 the price.

Sadly mine came broken, not sure if its safe to put in ear since its glass and i dont want to get cut

They are comfortable to wear, allowing them to be used for long sessions. As they are earbuds they do not intrude into your ears.

mi sono piaciute subito. ottima risposta su tutte le frequenze. suono caldo e completo. cercavo delle cuffiette di buona qualità di uso veloce ed immediato (uso anche su registrazioni con telecamera per filmati) e mi ritengo molto soddisfatto. se non si è abituati la sensazione di perdere le cuffie dall'orecchio si fa sentire ma ritengo che non siano per chi cerca delle cuffie per uso in movimento. consiglio ne vale la pena per la cifra spesa.

Sehr schöner und transparenter Klang, aber nach 1 Stunde die Ohren tun weh. Beryllium passt nicht so gut als Kopfhörer. Man muss zuerst aufpassen. Ehre und Respekt an Fiio bleibt trotzdem.

Ganz ehrlich, die Dinger klingen ziemlich einzigartig. Ziemlich gut sogar. Sie haben viel mehr Bass als viele IEMs. Leider fallen die Dinge bei mir sofort aus dem Ohr. Leidervon der Form eine Fehlkonstruktion. Einfach rund? Diese Form hat doch kein Ohr. Das ist schade, die Dinger hätten viel Potential. Toll verarbeitet sind sie eigentlich auch. Würden sie auch nur annähernd passen hätten Sie 5 Sterne, nach sowas habe ich immer gesucht. Leider kann ich sie so nicht empfehlen, außer man klebt sie irgendwie fest.
