CLEAN FOR LONGER LIFE
AUTOMOTIVE TECH: I had this tool for over a year now, I noticed some comments saying that the tool stops working. I was having the same problem then one day I gently took my tool apart and cleaned my trigger switch and it was good as new !!! IF YOUR TOOL STOPS WORKING PLEASE TRY THIS METHOD OUT BEFORE SPENDING MORE MONEY

I originally picked up the 12V Makita; it’s a well-made tool, but it just didn’t have enough power so I ended up returning it. I replaced it with this DeWalt 12V, and I’m definitely keeping it. This thing is a beast.

Another Welcome Addition
I really enjoy the functionality of this DeWalt. I am unable to manually manipulate a ratchet due to injury. This fits in well with my other tools. Haven’t used for a long period of time, but have plenty of 12v batteries.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Not very powerful. Could be that I lurched too low of voltage.

Great gift idea
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend . He loves his ratchet tool. .He uses it when he works in cars Does not come with the battery but it’s durable

Labor saver
This will save you some labor when you need to spin on/off a lot of fasteners under and around a car. The only con is that it's extremely loud when next to your head.

Lasted only 9 months of moderate to light usage.
It was good while it lasted, purchased this item in July 2024, and it quit on me last week in April 2025, I would say I gave it moderate to light use, didn't even use it daily.I'm going to contact Dewalt and find out if they will warranty it as it is within the 1year warranty period.

Item is excellent
I looked at this item for weeks at several stores and Amazon. This item came up used at Amazon for a good price so I promptly ordered it. I use it in a machine shop and it works great for bolting projects down. I had a Black and Decker battery ratchet 30 years ago and loved it until the batteries diedBuyers need to realize it’s not an impact wrench, not likely to loosen lug nuts on car tires.I chose the Dewalt because I already had batteries from cordless drills
