So far so good very happy
These visually are beautiful. Metal handles heavy but aluminum so not really. Basically you can tell your not holding plastic handles and will not break from "normal" use. Perfect diameter handle for kids first light sabers (mine are 5 and 9). I got the 32" blades and they are perfect length for the kids especially because i bought the dual pack for them both so each is getting one saber individually and more often than not will not be connected to make a double blade. Even the blade option that was only 2 inches longer would have been fine. And probably would have gone that rought if i wasbto donit again. Cons well they are not "starwars" brand so the intitial light up is close to sounding correct. The hum is constant and doesn't "swoosh" when you swing. And when you hit the sabers against each other it has more of an 80s laser blaster sound than the correct clash. BUT.... that being said these are I'm my opinion PERFECT first sabers for your kids. They won't know the difference. And why spend 3 to 10 times the money for them to just sound exactly correct when they might just grow out of it in a year or two. Save the big dollar sabers for when they are older and show a lasting love for the movies.

Really fun and great quality
As realistic as they can get. One of my favorite adult toys. The sound effects are so accurate and they are very durable. Highly recommend for all Star Wars fans. And there are so many colors to change your saber to.

Good Lightsaber
The lightsaber is good and sturdy. The only issue is that the plastic on the top can come off but it's easy to put back on. My daughter loves the different colors too.

Perfect Size For Kids! Also Fun For Adults!
The media could not be loaded. Is this going to be the most advanced light saber? No. But those will run you $300+ EACH.This product comes with TWO sabers and are of the same high quality as a $300 saber, just not as many functions.Specifically, these only come with two functions which would be FLASH ON CLASH (not very sensitive but OK) and STROBE LIGHT EFFECT (no sound). The sabers only come with TWO sounds which is the common START UP/TURN OFF and the IDLE SABER SOUND while on.These are obviously BASE LIT sabers, but the colors are all strong. At the tip, it's not perfect but it's OK.The reason why these sabers are just GREAT is that they are the ONLY 30" sabers you will find which are perfect size for your children to duel with you! I would say age 4+Think about it, you can't buy a full size 42" light saber for a child. Even for adults, that's long! You definitely won't be disappointed!

Great and they connect!
These are great and less expensive than some of the other light sabers out there. These connect and they look awesome. We have some that are more expensive and these are very comparable to those. My kids love to battle with these.

But this awesome lightsaber.
Fabulous gift to my nephew, love the colors and sound effects, even the metal black part , but the acrylic blade keeps falling off ., I think it got loose but it does not screw in and I don’t think I should try to fix with crazy glue . Suggestion?

Poor Quality
Bought this as a gift form my grandson but didn't give it to him until Easter. He told me that sounds no longer works. Cannot return since it's been more than 30 days since I purchased it. Had the same sort of problem at Christmas with a water pistol. It quit working about 1 day after purchase. Fortunately I was able to return that item for a refund. Went to Target and got the same item and didn't have any issues with it. I have decided to limit Amazon purchases in the future. Have not been happy with the quality of the items and the return policies.

Great for a first combat saber, but could do with some changes in advertising
I bought these to join a combat club. Here's my quick and dirty review.-The hilt is lightweight so it makes the blade feel a little more balanced, which is great! I would hate to try and fight using a blade that was too light. +10 points-Again with the hilt, the grip is actually very comfortable and once everything is put together I have plenty of room for a 2-handed form (Single blade.) with room to adjust for comfort. (I would consider some comfort grip tape for actual combat. Your hands will get sweaty) +10 points-They were only $70 (+$6, 2-year warranty which is optional) and I got two of them with a connector for double blade use, and a Type-C charging cable all included. So, great value! +10 points-They do not have color memory so if your preferred color is not blue, you'll need to cycle through every time. While a little upsetting, it's not a deal breaker. +7 points-Color again, the light seems a tiny bit inconsistent throughout the blade. Again not a deal breaker (for me) since they are Base Lit, but something to look at for future purchases for sure. +5 points-The sounds are pretty standard. You can turn them off if you want because they do get kind of annoying. The idle sound is reminiscent of what you'd hear if you ignited the blade and hung it on a swinging pendulum. +4 points-It says they have Smooth Swing, Lock-Up, and Blaster Deflection. They do not. In fact, there is NO motion recognition at all beyond collision. Unless they mean the constant strobe you get when you double-tap the switch. In which case, it still doesn't have these things +0 Points-The Flash-on-clash lights are a 1-second strobe and can't be changed. Again not a deal breaker but may be distracting. +5 points-The blades are definitely short sword standard (21 1/4" not including the connector) so you may want to look into a replacement if you are of larger stature. But they feel VERY sturdy so I'm sure they can take a beating. +8 points-Even with a shorter blade, it doesn't feel awkward. I went through the 8 blocks and strike points for Form 1 saber fighting and it felt great! I was very surprised. +10 pointsAll said and done, It's not a pair I will keep as my "one and only" but for someone who just wants to dip their toe into saber fighting, I would recommend them for the security of not spending your life savings if you aren't sure you will enjoy yourself fully. I also recommend them for the younglings for pure durability if nothing else.Total Score: 69/100
