Unlike so other reviews mine didn’t smell or was covered in any oil etc. Simple dumbell and very good price. Wish they would do 40kg and 50kg

No problem with the dumbbells themselves but they come covered in stinky, toxic oils/grease that is impossible to clean off. Leaves black marks on anything they come in contact with.

This is just what the doctor well physio therapist ordered.I got this help with my Physio on my left arm shoulder after an incident that left this side a little weaker. Will use this to work both armsIt arrived in a brown plain box and on removing i was meet with this well made hex shaped dumbbell, its stainless steal bar with two hex shaped ends covered in a nice rubber that does not slide around the floor when not in use. The stainless steal bar in the middle has a texture grip to help stop it slipping in your hand ( i did find i had to give it a really good clean when first received it as it felt like it was covered in oil)This is great for use on the arms ideally you will need two of these to work out, however in the meantime this is great for my needs

The size to weight ratio is great. They are super-heavy for a given size. These are the 15kg version and boy - do they weigh; for me at least - they weigh a tonne. Having only one - I can only use them one arm at a time, but they are great. The none-circular shape is vitally important too; my current set of dumbbells are the traditional circular types, and they role when you put them down on a surface. These, have a hexagonal shape - insures they stay in one place. Great!Downside: the metal handle bar - I don't like raw metal - with groves. I think they maybe more slippage when sweat wets them.I can recommend

These dumb bells are a set weight so choose the correct one to suit your exercise regime when purchasing. The weights are of an hexagonal style and are made of very tough rubber meaning they can be treated roughly without fear of damage to yourself or your laminated floor! A more likely event if they where made of the classic metal design The handle is a perfect design to enable a sturdy grip, I found no problem keeping a firm hold on the handle even as my hands got sweaty during a prolonged workout.I would of course suggest you by a pair as working with one is not practical for a lot of the strength and toning exercises you may undertake, the initial outlay may be a bit expensive but the durability of these extremely well made weights mean it is a once in a lifetime purchase and I will be able to use mine daily as part of my program. The only real question you have to ask is what weight is correct for you, once that's decided you should have no hesitation in buying this great product. Very pleased

This is an excellent quality hex dumbbell, reminds me of the ones you see on the racks at the gym.I've tried out the 15kg single dumbbell, I really like the slightly curved grip , it feels comfortable to hold and to get a decent hold of it.The rubber either side of the dumbbell bar is good quality, no marks or damage , it has a bit of a strong rubber smell but the ones I used to use at the gym did too, this feels just as good quality, really durable and robust , it's a heavy duty dumbbell that could last a lifetime if looked after.15kg is just the right weight for me to use for hammer curls , I can just about do 3 sets of 10 on each arm at the moment so it's a good weight for me , may be a bit light for more experienced gym goers but it's good that these hex dumbbells come in different weights to suit your level.I'm impressed with the dumbbell so far , it's built very well and I like the design of the grip, it feels good in the hand when performing hammer curls which is all I'll be using this for so I'm very happy with the quality and design.I'd recommend if you're looking for a good solid hex dumbbell that will probably last a lifetime.

Was not sure what sort of quality to expect from this when I ordered it for my home gym but in its arrival I was pleasantly surprised.Well packaged for the 15kg single dumbbell and it is made to a very high standard. Neat, well made and feels nice. The metal bar could be a little less greasy feeling but after a few uses I'm sure it'll sort itself out nicely.All round impressed with it
