Q: I want to buy a projector stand for outdoor use, I do not know if this one is suitable

Q: Is this stable enough for 6-pound 16-inch laptop? Don't want any risk of stand collapsing and dropping laptop.

It worked for a 10 inch projector and was a little loose. I would probably go a different direction, choosing one that’s a better quality and sturdier. I would have but time wasn’t on my side.

Q: Can you put your phone in the horizontal position in the phone holder?

Yes adjustable to just about any configuration you would need . The holder is connected to the stem with a ball/pivot point that allows all types of positioning
