I needed a small box to carry some special items on a plane. The box was perfect size, and sturdy. I did not have any flaws that others have mentioned. It was a great value, and I could see this as a great option for someone to paint or decorate to put a special gift inside.

I bought this to do a special project for one of my daughters' wedding. I transferred a laser print of her & her fiance's engagement photo to the lid. I did a light sanding with 240 grit to prep for the gel medium, did the transfer, rubbed the paper away and I'm currently letting the mod podge seal over the transfer cure (a two to four week wait depending on humidity) before adding a poly-acrylic seal to the entire box. After the final sealant is cured, I will make a velvet liner with compartments and ring holder for the interior. The box took the sanding, gel medium and transfer very well and it held up well to the process of wetting and re-wetting the paper to rub it away after the transfer. The box itself is built sturdy and the grain on the wood is quite lovely, it will look fabulous with a natural finish and I think it would also look good with a light to medium oak or pine stain finish.

Anything! This little box is the best stash, jewelry,Tarot cards trinket etc box! Its the perfect size & price! You can customize it & add your own designs. I love this little box & plan on buying a couple more. It such a nice little box & you can always fill them with earrings, jewelry, Tarot cards or Stash box. It comes in different sizes but the one I got was aprox 5"x7". Such a nice little box. I'm lining it in velvet & spraying a finish on it. (It comes unfinished) You could leave as is or use a oil on it. I just love it & buying another soon!

A bit chipped in one spot but in general all good

It's so cute...a little small...but perfect for a couple of leather bracelets I have. The wood had an open grain so I stained the box to give it a little colour. Great chatchka to add to my collection.
