Easy to install and makes a huge difference. Good as new.

This was my first time doing my own custom repair on a controller Using this kit and an ifixit guide I was able to see it through though it did take quite a long time. Additionally I accidentally put one of the longest screws into the shortest grooves slot causing small our damage. Fortunately no functionality was effective but it's very easy to make a mistake is what I'm trying to say.

This was the second replacement pack I've tried. The first pack from a different supplier had good quality tools but both of the replacement joysticks had terrible drift. The joystick I used from this pack still works perfectly 5 months later, the only problem being that by the time i finished putting the controller back together the screw driver bit had worn down to the point I doubt I could use it again if needed. Having said that a screw driver is a lot easier to replace than a touch joystick and I got what I wanted from this pack.

The screwdriver isnt short enough to effectively remove screws without ruining them - I can now no longer even attempt at replacing this because the screws are ruined. I will now have to buy new controllers. Do not buy would be a zero but had to put one star

These are great. Saves buying a new controller as they are very over priced. Just watched a YouTube vid for dismantling and it worked fine.

Had everything needed to fix controller. Except a manual but they don't need one these days with u tube saying that it had all components to do the job. Would buy again.

Thank god that these were being sold as it would have cost me over £100 to replace both controllers. Using this wee kit it was very easy to replace the joycons and get it back to full working order would highly recommend as a money saver.

One of the joysticks has a missing screw holder on the side. I still went ahead and installed it into the controller, but I'm worried it will get displaced or bent over time. Dissapointing considering this kit costs almost twice as much as other similar kits on Amazon. UPDATE: after a couple of weeks the right piece now has severe drift.

The replacement part works as advertised (for now). Seller should include some instructions or a list of dos and donts, though. I primarily relied on a user-contributed IFIXIT guide and a 29-minute-long video on the Ima_Rainbow YouTube Channel. If you are not a professional, you’d do well to follow a teardown guide or two like me. As careful as I was, I ended up cracking a pin inside the controller. Fortunately the crack was small enough to be amenable to a quick fix using some extra-strong adhesive. Don’t forget to use ESD protection.
