I purchased this because I am an ESL teacher, and when I teach pronunciation classes, this really helps students to see what position to put their tongue in their mouth when making certain sounds. I’m sure this can also be used to help teach children how to brush their teeth properly. Speech pathologist may also find good use for this. Be careful with the tongue because if it is pulled too hard, it will come out and you can put it back on the screw, but there is a small hole that the screw goes through to hold the tongue down if you pull the tongue out the screw makes the hole larger so It then becomes easy for the tongue to fall out

I've had it for 3 years and it's still holding on. My students have handled it roughly but it hasn't broken.

The item is pictured and comes with a toothbrush. It's fairly large and has considerable weight. I wish the tongue was removable. But it was a good buy!

As a speech language pathologist, I love this tool! The only downfall is the tongue does not return to its place easily after I remove it to teach tongue placement. I love the size of this product.
