Everest Brand Carburetor for Honda Eb5000X Em5000S Em5000Sx Em5000X Ew171 Generator Gaskets Included

The carb was an exact replacement for the original. I did not have any instructions for disassembly, installation, and reassembly so I took photos of everything from at least two angles as I removed parts to get down to the actual carburetor itself. Once the old carb was off and I began reassembling everything, the photos were a guide to putting it all back together in reverse order.When it was all back together, I turned on the gas valve and the generator started right up after just a little cranking on the starter. I replaced the cab because the generator would not run in econo mode. With the new carb it runs just like it should either in full power or econo mode.

Installed carb and generator wouldn't crank, left it for about a hour and it filled the top of cylinder/piston with gas. assume it had float problems, tapped side of carb and the leak slowed down and finally got the generator running, but still leaking some and generator doesn't run smooth at all, surges real bad. Do not recommend this to anyone. Fit good and cheap so ill give it a 2 star, otherwise its a 1.

Bolted right up it's a direct fit. 15 min process for the whole job. Afterwards started 2nd pull. A+ all around.

Was a breeze to install on my Honda generator which started right up after install.

Perfect fit

After installation, engine will pulse occasionally and stutter while under load. Not perfect, but better than the leaky one that I replaced.
