This is actually a really good product, very solid, well built, great design, EXCEPT, the shift key on the right side is tiny, for some reason they didn't put a larger shift key on the right like they did on the left, which sucks. I tried to get used to it but i kept hitting the up button, which kept sending the curser to the beginning of the line. This may not be a big deal to everyone, but if you touch type this may bother you also. the other thing is that it would be really hard to use an ipad with this case on it in portrait mode. If neither of these things willl bother you it is an awesome keyboard with a great viewing angle of about 130 degrees. I will try to post my video comparison. I ordered this for work to use with my IPad & as a RN I do a lot of notes and it’s been 3 months since my purchase. I DID absolutely love it, but now the keys are sticking and not working correctly and I have no idea how to get ahold of seller for the one year warranty! My advice is buy from a store with receipt in case it breaks you can actually utilize the warranty. Very very disappointed this has happened!! $55 is a lot of money to just throw away like that

Just got this product today. Out of the box, set up was super easy. It already has a factory charge so you can start using it right away. Connection to my ipad pro was very fast. I am currently using the keyboard to type up this review. Still needs getting used to. I use a wireless apple keyboard for my imac. This keyboard is kind of the same but the buttons feel like they are very close together. I find myself hitting more than one button and having to delete and delete. I guess millimeters really do count for efficiency. But for the price, and functionality, I really cant complain. The backlighting is really good. Bright, clear, not glaring or intruding. The response of the keys are not like the wireless apple keyboard but its close. They just feel a little sticky and I find myself having to press just a tad firmer to get a response. But like I said, for the price, Ill take it. Maybe on the next model, they could add rubber stops for the base of the keyboard so that i wouldn't be so apprehensive to take off the plastic cover to avoid scratches. I think plastic pads would be good to help elevate the keyboard just a milimmeter to avoid scratches and to provide traction when on smooth surfaces like granite. This iPad keyboard and cover are not durable enough to withstand normal use. After about three months of use, the back cover snapped off and it is now useless. It is made of heavy plastic, but because the ipad is held in place in the cover and the keyboard is attached on to it - it just cannot support the weight on two opposing sides. I bought this for my grandson and he said at least 3 of his classmates have had similar breakings of their keyboard and cover. I bought the Square Trade warranty, and of course, this breakage is not covered. Do not buy this or the warranty.

I can’t believe this is a great product. I have bought many of these types of keyboards and I have never had any luck. Usually the keyboard is too small or it’s hard to work with and I end up going back to just using the iPad. I have fat fingers and this keyboard allows me to type my usual 90 wpm. The gentlemen that said the shift key is too small, I think you’re letting your pinky finger drop low like on a regular keyboard. Again I have fat fingers and I can can still type at my normal speed. Thank you for making a great product that I want to use all the time. It’s like carrying a small laptop around. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a fully functioning laptop when I can literally do everything from my iPad. I hope this helps many of you to make the decision to buy this product. I also love that I can change the back lighting of the keys. I thought I would just be stuck with one color.

I liked what I read from other reviewers and ordered one for myself. I agree that the right shift key is in an awkward position and it would be better placed where the up arrow key is located. I, too, keep sending my cursor to the line above. At first, I held my composure and corrected the postitioning. By the completion of my second email, my blood pressure was sky high from anger. It will take time to adjust, if not, I will switch to my notebook completely. With the slightly narrow keyboard width, my right hand is forced to lift off the home key position to depress the shift key. If the manufacturers repositioned the shift key, this would be a very good product at 5 stars.

I was so happy when I unpacked this case. It’s good looking, nice and solid and matched my rose gold iPad perfectly. I did not like that little right side return key location, but decided I could work with it. After about 4-5 hours out of the box, I lost the Bluetooth connection to my iPad. I re-paired it. Another couple of minutes, same deal. This went on for an hour or so inspite of rebooting everything, deleting the cover from Bluetooth (several times). I finally gave up, repacked it and returned it. What a shame, I had high hopes.

I use my iPad Pro as a laptop replacement when traveling, and am constantly searching for the Perfect Keyboad Case. I thought this one was it: very slim, relatively lightweight, backlit keys, etc. It has all the features I’m looking for.Unfortunately, the keyboard is a problem. It is very slow to connect from “wake” when you open the case. And occasionally it will drop the connection unexpectedly. For example, it has dropped the Bluetooth link twice since I started writing this review.
