This saucepan is everything I hoped it would be and more
I'd been using cheap nonstick pans for years and finally decided to invest in some quality cookware. This Made In saucepan was my first purchase and now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to upgrade. The heat distribution is incredible - no more hot spots or burnt patches on the bottom of my sauces. Everything cooks so evenly that I actually feel like I know what I'm doing in the kitchen now. My hollandaise hasn't broken once since I started using this pan. The 2 quart size is perfect for most things I make. Big enough for pasta sauce for the family but not so huge that it's overkill for smaller batches. Fits perfectly on my burners too. Build quality is just outstanding. This thing feels substantial and professional, like something you'd see in a restaurant kitchen. The handle stays cool during cooking and has a really comfortable grip that doesn't slip. I was worried about the learning curve with stainless steel but it's actually been easier than I thought. Once you figure out the right heat levels, nothing sticks and cleanup is pretty straightforward. The finish is gorgeous too - looks amazing on my stovetop and still looks brand new after months of regular use. No scratches or discoloration like my old pans would get. Works great on my induction cooktop and heats up way faster than my old pans. More responsive to temperature changes too which gives you way better control. Yeah it's definitely more expensive than what I used to buy, but the difference in performance is night and day. This feels like an investment that'll last decades instead of replacing pans every couple years. Already planning to replace my other cookware with Made In pieces. When you find quality like this, you stick with it.

Great pan with great shape and size
I love the shape and the size of this pan. The long handle is wonderful since it makes it cool when holding. Heat distributing is great. I use it to cook different dishes and it is so versatile. The only downside is some spots still remains at the bottom or side of the pan after washing in the dishwasher even though we did not burn the food. Not sure why. I will try to use baking soda to see if it works.

Good quality, spreads the heat evenly, easy to clean, can go into the oven, no problem.
I now have 3 pieces of Made In Cookware and so many cast iron pans, pots, etc... The Made In works well on my induction cook top so that's huge! Made In is very nice high quality stuff. I think these 3 should do me for the rest of my life. I do enjoy watching that woman on YouTube that loves cooking with it and then flips us off. She is hilarious! She is the reason I bought it in the first place but I'm glad I did. Nice stuff!

Excellent stainless pan
Excellent pan, holds heat well, it's the right size and the lid fits perfect. Keep in mind it's stainless, not non-stick, so you will need to use oil.

Versatile & beautiful
This is my first purchase of a pricey pan - at nearly $200 a single pan, I sure am expecting it to be of good quality and want it to last more than just a couple of years. Also, my first time trying out this company Made In. I can't comment about the longevity of it yet, only almost a month in, but so far I do like it a lot. Very versatile - I can make stir fry, pan grilled dishes, baked dishes and even soup due to its wonderful depth. The size is great addition for my small family of 3 for when I make batch food, and serves well for when I'm hosting a dinner with friends (usually 6-10). Also really like the lid being all stainless steel, not glass. It's not light, but the weight isn't heavy enough to cause strain to my wrist & lower back when lifting and washing. Pictures are of my first time using it. Was making stroganoff and this browned the meat (almost 2lbs) perfectly. No complains. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality all-stainless steel pan.

Excellent quality pan for home cooks
I wanted a “buy it for life” stainless steel saucier to improve my sauce game. After researching many brands, I chose the Made In 3 quart size. Yes it is a bit pricey but I expect to use it for 20 years. - it’s 5 ply stainless steel with solid riveting. I did not want a cheesy nonstick pan with plastic handle. - Came with a lid. Not all brands offer a lid. - Safe to put in oven, they say up to 800 degrees but I won’t be doing that! - Not too heavy to pick up and move around. Nice long fluted handle, easy to grip with a kitchen towel. - Scratch resistant, though it will pick up a patina over time. Don’t use anything other than stainless steel cleaner or Bar Keeper’s Friend to maintain it. No steel wool or chain cleaners! - Works on an induction cooktop. I use mine to make sauces, for quickly sauteeing a chicken breast, to caramelize onions, to make rice and to dress pasta in sauce. It’s a wonderful pot and definitely has improved my home cooking. Well, that and watching Gordon Ramsey videos.

Most likely I’m spoiled by using 7-layers Viking stainless steel (back then it was manufactured in Belgium by I think Demeyere) and 5-layers All-Clad. The reason for me to buy Made In was curiosity and 3 quarts saucier shape. Because of the shape it works very well to “mantecare” risotto and short pasta. Heating is even. The vessel is heavy and solid. The main difference between Made In and All-Clad or Viking - the surface is not as smooth, there is some “roughness”. It makes it better for searing, but it gives you more trouble in cleaning. All-Clad and Viking take less effort to clean, but bottom gets discoloration immediately and require Bar Keepers Friend. Made In doesn’t show discoloration but requires more water and soap. Overall I like the shape and feel, but for cooking comfort and experience I would stick to 7-layers Belgian made Viking and 5-layers USA made All-Clad. UPDATE: After 3 months of heavy usage, the pan has consistently delivered excellent results. It's become my go-to vessel for making risottos and short pasta. The 5-ply stainless steel construction ensures even heat distribution, preventing hotspots and allowing for precise cooking. The shape of the pan is perfect for stirring and reducing liquids, which is key for dishes like risotto or "creaming" the pasta sauce. Cleaning has been a breeze, and the pan still looks ok. Overall, I'm very satisfied with its durability and performance. Update after one year of use: I’m changing my rating from 4 stars to 5. This has become my main cooking vessel in the kitchen — perfect for pasta and risotto. Very happy with the purchase.

I’m a retired chef of some 50 years. I like to buy once, buy right. Let’s say from the onset, you can always. Buy cheaper, I don’t want to buy cheap, I want to buy right. This is good kit. Weight is nice, handles well in the hand. Great heat distribution. Saucier is a good buy, nice curve at the base, easy to work in the pan. I have all three of the various sizes. I’m very happy, it will last a life time.
