Rago Style 9057 - Body Briefer Extra-Firm Shaping

I love this product but when you shorten the garters, they go back to full length within a few minutes. If they would offer shorter garters, or the slide to shorten them, would stay, this would be perfect. I gave it 4 stars because of this, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

I was a little unsure what size to order this product in, since my bra size (40G in UK sizing, 40I in US sizing) isn't one that Rago carries. I also have rather large hips and backside, so ordering based on bra size can be frustrating because my lower half is 1-2 dress sizes larger than my upper half. I had previously tried the Rago "wear your own bra" type girdle and was not successful in finding a size in that that fit, so I braved this one. I took a chance and ordered the largest size. Following the "sister size" theory, it should approximately fit me, but unfortunately that was not the case. I wear around a size 22-24 US in women's jeans, but this was just too small. I tried pulling it on over my head, and couldn't get it past my shoulders. Based on the size of the top opening, I didn't even try to pull it on over my hips, because it didn't look like it would fit. I gave it to a friend who is a little smaller than me, around a 16-18, and it fits them great, though a little big in the cups as they're smaller in the bust than I am. It looks fantastic on my friend and really snatches and smooths, but based on how off the sizing is, I have no idea how to recommend others select a size in this. I've seen other reviews say to size up, but I wasn't expecting to have to size up that much and still not have it fit. It looks really good and works very well if you can figure out your size, but that can be difficult with this product.

I’m a size 13. And bought a body shaper. I’ve wanted one from this company for years. I ordered according to my bra size as it says to according to their site and description. I couldnt Get it on. I was in hysterical tears. I bought this because i have Body issues. And this made it worse. Bought through Amazon so return would be easy just in case. Wrong. I have To mail it. God knows when I’ll be refunded. And now i have Nothing and no money to reorder in time for my event. When i called The company the First Lady was super sweet. The lady that returned my call chastised me for ordering through Amazon and wouldn’t help me at all. I’ll never buy one of their products again. Ever. I’d rather die first. I’ve never felt so bad about myself or been treated so badly for ordering from a company before ever. Ever. Do not. I repeat do not order from this company. Ever. I wanted to support a long time American made business. I’d rather order from China. You’ll get treated better.

The Rago is Great for shaping & firmness--very well made & strong panels...unfortunately, the bodice of this briefer was too short for the bra portion to align in my particular 'dress top.'

I had to send this item back. I contacted the seller and got great customer service. The fabric was see through..and I didn't feel it would have good firm hold like I need. It did run small...so don't order a smaller size thinking it will hold you in better because you won't be able to get yourself into it. After purchasing many body shapers and girdles I can say this is classified as average or light hold. If you don't need a miracle like me...just some light support and smoothing....this garment will work perfect for you! I actually ended up with a company that sells heavy duty compression body shapers for the medical community. They are not only for shaping the body after weight loss...but also for after surgery procedures like tummy tucks and liposuction. Always remember to be honest about your size and stick with it because ordering a smaller size won't allow you to get into the shaper....

I love it! It tames my unsightly bulges and produces a more flattering figure. I also love the fact that it comes with garters, which I use with stockings when I'm striving for a more sexy look. Under more normal, day to day, circumstances, however, I wear it with tights or pantyhose. Purchased the black briefer, but will be purchasing the white version as well. Well worth the money.
