popchips Potato Chips, Crazy Hot, Gluten Free 5 oz Bags (Pack of 12) (F-AR-50201)

I bought these Popchips for my autistic son. He loves them!

New packaging is NOT the same flavor popchip. The new bag flavor is EXTREMELY hot compared to the original Crazy Hot. The new bag chips are so hot I couldn’t eat a whole chip, my mouth was on fire and immediate upset stomach. Can I send the unopened bags back for a refund?

I am truly addicted to hot chips (hot cheetos, hot lays, etc) and have been searching for a “healthier” alternative for YEARS. I have found them! This is the only thing that curves my craving and doesn’t leave me feeling terrible the way hot cheetos do. So grateful to have found these!!

I'm upset, I've been buying these chips in bulk for years now and for the past couple months I can’t find them in stores anymore so I’ve had to buy online more often. This recent batch I received have updated the recipe to include Jalapeño Powder which have made the chips so unbearably spicy it’s not even enjoyable to eat anymore. The reason I liked the old recipe was the subtle heat and flavor. Super upset that I bought the bulk order and won’t be able to eat any of these bags.

I love pop chips especially the sour cream and onion I like the fact that they are not fried, so you don't have the grease. I have craved salt all my life and the sea salt is healthier.

it's not the old flavor as advertised in the picture, important if you only bought it for the flavor of the old recipe.

Our family is from Texas and we love any type of spicy food! When my husband found these pop chips on amazon he had to order them. Well we all love them! We even have had some of our friends try them and they agree.

Pop Chips used to be my go-to snack a few years back when I was trying to lose weight and calorie counting. The Crazy Hot flavor was a healthy (and delicious!) alternative to Hot Cheetos and really helped keep my cravings at bay. As old habits started to kick back in during covid lockdown, I decided to swap my unhealthy snacks for these. I was not hesitant to buy in bulk, since I knew I loved the taste already... but unfortunately, they seem to have altered the flavor a bit! Back then, each chip was covered red with the flavor powder (not sure of the correct term), but I’m 2 bags in and most of the chips just have a light sprinkle of flavor. I’d be lucky to get even a handful of chips that have any flavor at all!Don’t get me wrong though, these aren’t horrible... They’re just not as good as they used to be. I probably won’t be buying these again (unless they change the recipe back to their old one). If anyone else is disappointed with the flavor, I would suggest trying a bag of hot and spicy veggie straws. They’re not as tasty as the old Crazy Hot Pop Chips, but they’re definitely better than these!
