Ordered this after doing a lot of homework. Read the reviews on multiple different pumps and each seemed to have a couple reviews I didn’t like. My old pentair finally cracked along the bottom of the pump housing after replacing the motor a year prior. I was looking for low cost. Also, didn’t want to spend an afternoon plumbing and wiring up a new pump only to find out it was defective right out of the box. So I rolled the dice on this one after reading a couple reviews. It showed up in 2 days. Inside the box it had everything advertised in the picture. Packed neatly and safely in molded styrofoam, nothing broken. Score number 1. Had all the unions pictured in the photos as well. Wiring directions were just fine. Note: you do need to have some automotive style female spade quick disconnect butt crimp wire ends to wire the 2 hot wires in. The ground screw is accessible enough to go without but I used a fork end on the ground to make it pretty. The ones I used were 16ga. Old pump was 1hp, I went with 1.5hp after looking at the flow rate on this one. It was the perfect choice. Flows about the same. It’s ultra quiet. Able to run both the Hayward aquanaut 2 wheel vacuum and the skimmer with plenty of suction with both 1.5” incoming lines open. It is self priming-assuming there’s no air leaks following install. I’m very happy with it so far. We will see how long it lasts.

Pump is used on my pool. Works okay but manufacturer offers, or I can’t find a warranty on the product. Of course amazon covers it for 30 days but where is the manufacturer’s warranty, if there is one

This looked bigger and looked like it would be a problem moving existing pipes. But husnbnd said, it turned out great, was easy to install, lined up perfectly, works well. It is much more quiet than my old filter
