Incredible Camera and Starter for Breaking into Photography
Not new to DLSR camera I wanted an upgrade. I did not own any extra lenses and was coming from a Rebel TSi, a laughable comparison to the 6D Mark II. Since I was not encombered by converting glass I wanted to get a Full Frame (FF) that would last a while. I compared this to the 80D and the 5D MKIV before settling on the 6D MkII. Namely, for the price point difference between 5D MkIV and 6D MkII I can invest the rest into glass (Canon MP-E 65mm, 100mm L) along with the wonderful 24-105mm as an everyday carry around. I was not at all disappointed. I waited for a little over two months to write this review. I got it at the time when the battery grip was included (a great deal), and I purchased an extra battery to fill the grip with. My first trip I went to several parks nearby to get a feel for it, then went to Yellowstone National Park for five days. Pictures came out incredibly sharp. The 24-105 is a sharp camera lens, wonderful for wide angle, but not Ultra Wide (UW) as the 16-35mm or 17-40mm (looking at getting this next). The functions are amazing, the flip screen LCD is scratch resistant, but I mostly keep it shut. What I loved was the GPS function for geotagging. However, this does kill the battery significantly quicker. Each battery lasted about 600 shots. Not too bad. Also did 1-time lapse with this. With keeping an FF, you don't need to worry about upgrading in the future, staying EF mounted and buying only EF glass (MP-E is dual compatible), gives ample of space to grow your lens collection. Picture Quality: Superb, not as fast a shutter as the 1DX but I'm not shooting sports, this would probably do animal shots "ok" but I'd probably go with the 5d Mk IV for this instead if speed is needed rather than stills. The Auto Focus (AF) is spot on with a working distance of about 1ft, anything less, switch to manual. Multi-Pixel AF does well, and the shutter is smooth. Video: For video, the 5D MKIV is slightly better, but not word breaking. Canon's 6D MkII got a bit of a bad reputation for Canon being lazy on the drivers. Well, I don't disagree, but there are enough features, and it's a camera that some pro's keep as a backup to their 1DX or 5D MkIV's. I can't attest to the video functions as I primarily purchased for stills. Overall, it's been a fantastic camera. Super happy with it!

So glad I bought this!!
What a great mid-level camera! I couldn't decide between this camera or a mirrorless one. Ultimately, I went with the old tried and true Mark II and I have zero regrets. I'm a traveling photographer and needed something sturdy enough to take on long haul flights. This one doesn't have any fancy accessories but, to be honest, I like that - I can add what I need instead of paying extra for junk I'll never use.

I LOVE This Camera!
I love to take pictures as a hobby. It's just something I've always enjoyed. Sometimes people ask me to photograph an event for them, which usually I end up borrowing my friends Canon 5D Mark II cause it takes amazing photos. I used to have a Canon Rebel t5i, which was fine for what I would use it for. Well, when it was time to upgrade I naturally thought about getting the Canon Rebel T7i. My wife had recently purchased one for her work to shoot events and she's been happy with it. But instead I decided to wait a little while longer and I'm so glad I did cause I was able to buy this one. REVIEW: I love this camera. I cannot say it enough. I feel like I haven't really been able to test it out as I should, but from what I've experienced this was such a great investment for me. I love taking pictures with this camera and lens. The quality of pictures I'm getting is just so amazing to me. Again, I'm not a pro, but this camera is just amazing to me. The lens gives such great Bokeh and makes my pictures pop so much more when at a certain distance. Most of the pictures I've taken are personal so I can't really share those, but I am going to share a few that don't feature any faces of people. I have a road trip coming up and I cannot wait to use this during it. Hopefully, I'll be able to share more photos afterward. If you have the money to splurge a little over a Rebel, I cannot recommend doing so enough. Just do it, you won't regret it!

Great cam with reach fetures.
Changed to this one after 60D was stolen in Spain. I know that it`s not correct to compare that 2 models but .. huge advantage 6D. Rich functional including wifi, BT, GPS. Great matrix for handling night shuts. The only drawback is EF 24-105mm lens which is not allaw to embracing full potential of camera. Overall satisfied with purchase.

Great camera!
So far I’m loving this camera! I’ve had a Canon Rebel t3i for years and wanted to upgrade while still staying in my budget. So far the transition to a new camera has been great, and I feel like the images I’m getting are great for the money I spent!

Amazing detail and very intuitive
I was worried I would have a steep learning curve with transitioning from a T6 to the 6D Mii. Everything is fairly intuitive. I did have to google how to get rid of the level screen when leveling got mistakenly turned on, but it was simple to fix. The picture quality is amazing and I am seeing details like freckles that I didn’t see on my models before. Love this camera!

It is a downgrade fro the 1st 6D - disapointed
I had gotten the original 6D. It worked great,. Quality was there, sharp images... it was great. Decided to invest in another 6D. I cant say I am hugely impressed. I am considering switching back to my older 6D. Images are not clean sharp, if that makes sense? It has been an uphill battle since I got it. I have done many tests trying out different settings and not figuring out what the problem is. Maybe its just how the camera is. Pretty disappointing.
