Harry'sRazors for Men - Winston Chrome Razor Handle, 1 Handle and 1 Razor Blade Refill (German-Engineered Blades with Lubricating Strip and Precision Trimmer)

Used the razor for a long time previously. Unfortunately was lost in my luggage on a plane trip to South America. And I have been on disposables since then until I shaved with my new razor yesterday. Fantastic. What a difference.

Amazing upgrade and improvement over the original.

These razors are so well made. So reasonably priced compared to my previous brand.

I disliked the tapered handle.

This handle is not your typical lightweight cheap plastic Harry's handle. Still not metal, but gives the look in a better handle than come with the OUTSTANDING Harry's blades.

This razor cuts clean and extremely well

First off, this was originally advertised as a two pack of the metal razor handle + razor. I received one handle, and the item description was later changed, so I get the impression that I wasn’t the only one to notice this. I was a former Dollar Shave Club subscriber. That got too expensive, so I thought I’d try Harry’s. I like that the razors fit both the plastic and metal handles, because they should (looking at you, DSC). This handle though isn’t actually metal. It’s a chintzy plastic handle coated in plastic that feels flimsy in your hand. It’s hard to hold, which is a bad feature for a blade being used against your skin. I always feel like the razor os slipping out of my hand. The actual blade feels very straight. It doesn’t conform to your skin at all. I consistently cut the backs of my calves when I shave because the razor just won’t fit the curves of my leg. Yes, it’s a men’s razor, but men’s faces are not straight. Also, just of note, I purchased a plastic handle in store for my fiancé. That handle is not only more substantial and heavier in your hand, but it came with a blade cover for travel, which this one does not, and was almost $10 cheaper. Something’s not right there. I won’t be buying these razors again.
