Made In USA or not? It says yes in one place but China in another place on the Amazon description?

Yes, the hammer I purchased has the eagle logo. I’m a finish carpenter & I’ve been using estwing hammers for years. I bought this one to hang in my shop and use around the house. I’m extremely pleased with it.

I am shopping for a light hammer for my husband. Short handle or long handle? Thanks for any advice.

You can't go wrong with either size handle. The estwing hammer you are looking at is a very nice hammer, I have both long and short handle and love them both. I use short handle one for finish work and use long handle for framing. Either size your husband will be happy with.
