I bought this coffee dripper in Oct. 2017. I am writing this review on July 2018. On average I would say that I've used the dripper about 3-4 times a week. After each use I rinse out the dripper and over so often I would use dish soap to clean it. Over the past 3 or so months, I've noticed that the dripping had slowed almost unbearably to the extent that I was about to purchase another coffee dripper- likely an entirely different gadget all together. However, I did a little on-line searching and discovered that if I submerged and soaked this dripper in 4-5 tablespoons of dissolved Oxy-Clean for an hour or longer and then run it through the dishwasher it should likely be back to new. I figured what did I have to loose?I attached 2 pictures of my dripper soaking. Keep in mind that my dripper has been cleaned/washed after each use over the past 10 months & was visibly clean when I submerged it into the Oxy-Clean solution, as I described above. I really couldn't believe how much residue came off of the dripper. After several hours of soaking, I rinsed it off & then ran it through the top shelf of my dishwasher with the rest of my dishes.This morning when I inspected it, the dripper was shockingly shiny and made a super cup of coffee with a super fast drip time!All in all, after nearly a year of use and now having found a way to give the dripper a super cleaning- I'm completely sold on this gadget! I'm satisfied and would buy it again, if I needed another 1-cup coffee dripper.

We bought these filters to use at work. They are perfect! They are not only excellent quality, pretty, and have the added freebies of the measuring spoon and the cleaning brush, but they are also ecological: made of steel (not plastic), not needing extra paper filters. The double wall (sieve outside, extremely fine steel mesh inside) doesn't let any coffee grounds seep through. An added perk is that one can see the dripping coffee through the side holes at the bottom of the filter, so one can control the amount of water very well (no over-pouring). We appreciate the little brush very much: it really cleans out even the smallest coffee grain. It's much more thorough than a sponge would be, for example. The delivery was quick and without problems. The recipe ebook is much more substantial than I expected. It introduces to the history of coffee and contains a large number of recipes, not only for coffee beverages or desserts but also for savory dishes (including appetizers and main courses). Great product, glad we chose this filter and not another.

Works quite well - though the whole thing is one piece, unlike the similar pour-over filter assembly made by Primula; the lack of the outer glass part leads to the coffee passing through the filter assembly faster. As a result, greater care is needed to pour the water at a controlled speed to get a properly brewed cup with this filter. The metal measuring spoon is a great help when working with pre-ground coffee, eliminating the need to weigh the grounds.

I am so glad I chose this coffee dripper to purchase! I like that this product is made with a stainless steel laser cut filter, so I never have to worry about running out of paper filters again. The coffee measure that comes with the kit makes it convenient to just scoop ground coffee right into the filter.Other commenters have mentioned that the water filters through at a faster pace, and I would agree with that. Coffee will filter faster through this dripper than one that uses a paper filter, so just keep an eye on that. My go-to coffee is Folger's Black Silk, and I still get a nice, flavorful, bold cup of coffee.Cafettini also has excellent customer service! When I received my kit, part of the coffee scoop was damaged. I immediately reached out to Cafettini asking if I could purchase just the scoop, and the co-founder Johnny responded to me within hours. We got the issue resolved, and I couldn't be happier! I'm thrilled my purchase is supporting a smaller company, and I love that I get a great cup of coffee in the morning!

Gave this a wash and used it same day as it arrived-I was pretty excited to test it out. Coffee was delicious. I’m just about to add another one to my cart so i can keep it at work.I also like the fact that I’m not adding unnecessary waste to our landfills.Truly glad I bought this! I’d encourage anyone who’s considering to go ahead and try, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

i love this product, but I love the company even more. I’ve had this product for a couple weeks now and I love it! When my package arrived, the scoop was broken in half, I reached out to Cafettini’s customer support through email and just hours later I instantly received a response with a brand new kit already put in the mail for me. I was very impressed with the owners customer service, and in a couple days my new package was delivered - all just because of the scoop! Now I have 2, and one will be stashed in my camping tote! Great product, better company. Highly recommended

It is durable, stable, easy to clean. Try it for tea as well. I just pour microwaved hot water through the funnel over 3 level scoops of Folgers coffee into my glass mug. Funnel sits perfectly on top. In no time I have a yummy mug of coffee that tastes like it was freshly perked! I would recommend this 100%.

This filter makes great coffee and is fairly easy to clean. We only hand washed it - no dishwasher. Unfortunately this morning the cone broke off the base. We've only had it since the end of December (holiday gift). Very disappointing.New note: Awesome customer service from Cafettini - they sent a replacement. Happily enjoying my morning brew.

When I notice that I was leaving on a business trip and that I was going to be away from home and my espresso machine for several days and also that the place where I was going to stay didn't have any tools to make a cup of my daily needed dosage of café I almost went on panic. Then I started to see different options in Amazon so that I could continue my coffee consumption during my trip. After seeing different options I decided on this little tool and I am glad I did. Not only the price was very fair but also when I received the product was surprised by the quality of the packaging and the product itself. I am used to ordering stuff that although sometimes useful they come without anything noticeable like it is being handled just direct from a Chinese factory. This is not the case with Cafettini which as I said, came with a lovely packing and is itself a very nice product. Also, it makes a very tasteful coffee.

This is a wonderful product. For years I have used paper filters and always felt they made the coffee taste like it had a hind of cardboard in it. This metal filter removes that taste and is fine enough that there is no residue left in my coffee. It is also really easy to rinse.One thing to note is that the filter does not drip the coffee directly down, but instead comes out of the sides near the bottom. This isn't a problem though because the filter is so well-machined that none of the coffee spills out (even if you completely fill it with water).Oh and one more thing, the spoon that comes with the filter is actually really great. It feels strange to have this kind of attachment to a spoon, but trust me. The spoon is heavy and solid and perfect for placing coffee beans into my grinder.Seriously great product. I have no complaints!

My husband and I love this. It makes great coffee; it’s small, so it doesn’t take up much room on the counter; it’s portable, so you can even pack it in a suitcase or take camping; it’s environmentally friendly because it doesn’t use paper filters; it also makes making coffee fun! The scoop is the perfect size.The HUGELY important part is the brush for cleaning. We had previously purchased one from a different company and it only lasted a few months because we couldn’t get it properly cleaned so it didn’t clog up (we attempted using a toothbrush) so the fact that this comes with a brush to clean it with is excellent!!! Make sure to clean it right after use.Service is excellent as I emailed in a question and it was responded to quickly and very helpfully.

- Super fast delivery !! (arrived the next day, even on the weekend !!)- Filter size is perfect !! (First, I was thinking of buying 3-4 cup size, but this 1-2 cup one is bigger than I thought and exactly about the size I have imagined. Perfect :-)- Spoon and brush are handy items (Spoon is quite solid, not thin as you expect. One scoop just serves 1-2 mug cups as it says - perfect !!)As long as it does not get clogged soon, I am very happy with the choice of this product ♡

Simple design, simple to use. If the spot welds holding the filter to the base hold up, a great buy. Measuring spoon & cleaning brush included. As far as cleaning is concerned, one does have to rinse some 'undumpable' coffee residue down the drain. However, one can brush out 99% of the grounds residue for later use in garden or compost. In my opinion, the base could've been designed with a slight angle to the cup, but hey so far it has been a great buy! R.D.

I use this every single day and love that I don't have to use filters anymore. The coffee tastes better (I wonder if the filters I used before changed the taste a bit). My only comment is that the water is so hot - it is too hot to remove after you're done without feeling burned on your fingers. But I would buy this again if mine ever broke or stopped working. It is amazing!

Update, broke is less than a year, the top of it fell off due to poor spot welds.The company that made/sold it appears to be gone so the lifetime warranty means nothing.This is a learning lesson, a lifetime warranty means nothing on Amazon if the company just dissapearsSo far so good, works great to filter out 99% of the fines from French press. I've had one similar to this that didn't last so I hope this one does.

Love it!!! it makes the perfect cup of coffee in the morning. i am the only person in the house that drinks coffee so buying a coffee maker did not make sense. This little device is very good and does not take a lot of space. Recommend it.

Works well. Would be better if it was bigger, it is too small to just fill it once for one mug. Not durable. On one of the first uses the top ring separated from the cone. Not worth sending back.

The product is reasonably priced and does its job well. Unfortunately, for me the cone portion separated from the top handle rim. I’ve only been using it two months; I won’t be repurchasing a replacement.

Sometimes I don't want to make pot of coffee, this gives me that option without worrying about having the right size of filter.

I like how easy it is to use and how quick and easy the clean-up is. It took me a couple tries to get the strength of coffee I like but now I know how many tsp's of ground coffee to use and I have an excellent cup of coffee every time! LOVE IT!

Love it! Love it! Love it! Takes less of my time in the morning to prepare a great cup of coffee! It did not filter out the taste of coffee like how paper filter would and it’s so easy to clean!
