This is not a true diffuser. I am an essential oil specialist and have used diffusers before.. I purchased this for my car as I noticed it was made of a high-quality plastic which will not disintegrate when it comes in contact with the pure, organic essential oil. I ordered it once before and no mist was emitted from the device. I called the manufacturer and was told that it was defective and to return it. I re-ordered it only to have the same problem. A true diffuser will emit a mist containing microscopic particles of the essential oil. All this unit does is blow a barely detectable stream of air out of the unit. You can only smell the oil if you put your nose up to the unit and smell it. A true diffuser should spread the smell throughout the local area it is used in. Very disappointing as I liked that the unit could fit right into the cup holder.

This is a really great car diffuser. We have had a few, and they were all horrible - had a horrific high pitched screech, or just quit after a week or two, etc. So far I think this one is a much higher quality. I love one of the features quite a bit. Pros and cons below:Pros:1) this one is pretty quiet. Like any diffuser you have a bit of really quiet white noise, but it is nothing disturbing - in fact our family finds it rather calming. We have a little one with auditory processing issues, so we often ride in a quiet car, and this is still not troublesome. If you have the radio on, I can promise you won't even hear it.2) INTERMITTENT MODE!!!! Honestly, if you are using a diffuser for therapeutic aromatherapy, you should be using the diffuser on intermittent mode. In this mode your CNS can appropriately react to the oils without becoming overwhelming. This is moreso the case in small areas like a car. Also, don't forget to use less oils because you are in such a small area!3) fits easily in any cup holder. Great size. Doesn't slide all over, but also isn't too big. Think medium sized drink, but just a touch shorter. Will fit in pretty much any car!4) great colors. It looks nice!Cons:1) I don't have any cons yet. If I have any issues with durability I will update this review, but I anticipate this will continue to be awesome!

I am really happy with this product. This is so much better than the traditional car fresheners.PROS - 2 modes to suit you. One mode sends out "puffs" of mist and the other mode continuously mists. The mist is not super strong. Some diffusers send out super thick streams of mist and this does not so it doesn't get anything in the car damp. Fits in both sizes of my cupholders. The base makes it even more stable in the cupholder.CONS - Does NOT work well on a table top. I thought I would try it at work but it is not stable enough to survive my day. I would only use this in a cupholder. No colors. I miss the color changing option of my home units. The lid doesn't lock on. It is tight fighting but it doesn't lock. This one is a pro and a con. The plug in does not stay in the unit if the wire is messed with. This is good because your kids can't wank the unit out by the cord and fling water everywhere but it is not good when you pick the unit up wrong and bump that wire.

This is a great diffuser and the kind I'm looking for: simple to operate, aesthetically pleasing, and very little maintenance. I've researched many car diffusers out there, and a lot of them had some sort of proprietary design and maintenance, ex. Filters, special bottles with washers/gaskets..etc. With this: none! Just like my home diffuser, you just fill it up, drop a couple drops of essential oil and go!One thing with this diffuser in order for it to work (misting) is you shouldn't overfill than what's instructed, or it won't mist. But other than that, simple maintenance of weekly cleaning with a bit of rubbing alcohol ( I usually let it sit for about 30 minutes), rinse it out next let it air dry.I've had this a few weeks now and works great. I'm thinking this would make a great gift too!

Just what I wanted. Plugged it up right away in the kitchen with 2 drops Jade Lemon oil. I can smell it and am happy it won't be overwhelming in the car. Press power button once for continuous, twice for intermittent. Power button light goes off when you shut it off. Looks even nicer in person.

I love diffusers. Right now I am running 3 in my house. This one is smaller, holds only 2 ounces of water, but misted for 4-5 hours. It does tend to shut off in the car when ideling. It is very important with this diffuser to not have too much water in it. You don't need much.

The diffuser works nicely in my car. The power adapter does not come with the diffuser, but if you have a USB port, it comes with the USB cord. It puts out a good amount of aroma with the EOs and lasts a decent amount of time. But the top comes off so easily. This would easily be a 4 star with the top had some type of locking mechanism.

It really doesn't work, you cant tell when its on or off even when left on for a long time, really disappointed with the item,Edit:Excellent costumer service. They contacted me and sent me a new unit which seems to be working fine, you can see the vapor coming out.

Product defective and not working. The on button doesn't stay on. I won't recommend this product is a waste of money.

The product did not diffuse. The water/oil barely had movement, but definitely not enough to generate mist. Yes, I did use it correctly.

doesn't make enough steam to make the car smell good. I put a variety of oils, but it didn't work like the competitor's version I have on my desk.

I love this product! I have been using it almost daily in my car for a couple months now. It is very easy to operate and fits nicely in my cup holder.

Received for a Christmas present and I am really pleased with this product! Works great and produces a fine mist. You have to line up the lid just right for it to work properly.

I bought this shirt for my brother for Christmas and it looks great on him. The fit is perfect and he really likes the texture.

So small it did not last long at all. not worth the money.
