Campbell's Condensed Cream of Celery Soup, 10.5 oz Can (12 Pack)

Great short cut for a quick meal

On the campbell website there is a recipe using this soup with sauteed chicken over rice, pasta, whatever you like. It is DELICIOUS!!!!!!! So good I bought 4 more cans to have on hand when the urge hits again. Recipe only takes 15-20 minutes to fix.

Campbell Soups have been staples in my family for more than 75 years. When my brother and I went home for lunch (what a concept!) we always hoped our mother had made some Campbell’s soup. Unless it was a very warm day, we almost always had soup and a sandwich. Over the years Campbell soup was part of our lunch, even on weekends. After retiring my husband and I continued to enjoy the variety of soups made by Campbell’s. We began to wonder why we couldn’t find certain kinds of their soup, e.g. Cream of Asparagus and Pepper Pot. We recently tried to search for the availability of these two and were happy to discover that one of the two is still available. We purchased a case of Cream of Asparagus and are enjoying being reunited with this soup. We still miss the outstanding flavors of Pepper Pot soup ! The very last can of that soup we found in a grocery store in the Caribbean. Yes, it was still fresh with an expiration date some months away. It came home in our luggage and we enjoyed it immensely, thinking we’d find it somewhere here at home to continue enjoying it. No luck. Kudos to Campbell’s for producing so many outstanding, nourishing flavors !

I have a recipe that calls for this soup and it is very difficult for me to find locally in any of my stores. I was so happy to have found it on Amazon and for a decent price. I have substituted other soups like cream of chicken or cream of celery in the recipe and it just isn't as good.

You can tell the base is Cream of Mushroom.No biggie. A teaspoon of Garlic powder, a teaspoon of Onion powder. and a half teaspoon of Celery seed or Celery salt and it's a very nice Cream of Asparagus. Steaming and adding 3-4 stalks of fresh asparagus doesn't hurt, either.

I love these Campbell’s Healthy Request Soups! The store never has the kinds I like. When I found them here, I bought a case! I will always buy them here a case at a time! I think they are cheaper than the store buying in bulk! These will always be on my shelf!
