If you did the prep work this stuff should last a good long time.
Clean the walls well and be careful...the adhesive is VERY good. Easy to use and the room is almost completely soundproofed. It's great. Be careful.

Cornhole board soundproofing!
This is a quality product and does the job that I intended it for most people use it for soundproofing in a car, but I put it underneath my cornhole boards to take away the thud and dead in the sound so I can play a little later at night. it does just that, just remember to use a roller to secure it tightly in the corners and center.

Helps a bit
Used on the bottom exterior & interior of an indoor fountain (sits on tile) to help mask the hum of the pump. Not gone but definitely reduced, and the pump noise is now less than the water noise.

Great Quality and Easy to Use
This high-density acoustic foam works amazingly well for soundproofing and insulation The closed-cell design blocks out noise effectively, making it perfect for home studios, offices, and even automotive applications The self-adhesive backing is strong and sticks securely to different surfaces without peeling The 0.4-inch thickness provides great coverage, and the material is fire and water-resistant, making it durable for long-term use It is also easy to cut and shape, allowing for a custom fit in tight spaces This product offers great value for money excellent functionality and is easy to use If you need high-quality soundproofing foam that is durable and effective, this is a fantastic choice Highly recommend

Horrible product
Adhesive is horrible. Keeps falling off the wall. And does nothing to reduce sounds.

Shrinks
Purchased this for sound equipment, once applied, it shrunk. Very adhesive though, which is nice but just wish it stayed in place.

Cannot hear dog barking anymore
I live in a house rental in a decent neighborhood where the noise levels are generally quiet... except for the fact that one of my neighbors keeps their poor dogs outside most of the time. So those dogs yap a LOT at anything and everything. Since then, I have used a compressed airhorn to train them to stop barking due to their owners being lazy. That has worked really well, but when I am already in my upstairs bedroom - preparing to go to sleep - I can't run outside with the compressed airhorn and blast it in their dogs' faces while indecent - and blasting the compressed airhorn from my bedroom window is ineffective unless I go directly up to their fence to do it. So I purchased three of these products (not cheap, I know. But my sanity was on the line), and just stuck them as best I could inside of my bedroom's window frames, then used acoustic sealant to fill in the gaps. I'm now able to finally fall asleep and not get woken up in the middle of the night without even slightly hearing the dog barking. The acoustic sealant isn't very rent friendly, but we got to do what we have to do to protect our peace. *shrug*

Didn’t work for my application
I purchased this to absorb sound for a generator box I was building. The box was made with 1” foam board and I used this to stick in the inside. The sound db reduction was only 1 decibel in addition to what the foam board did alone (at 6ft). Within 24 hours it started to peel off. The sections that haven’t is because I used spray foam on the corners. I chose it because it not flammable. For my application it was almost a complete failure and didn’t reduce sound as expected. As this is rolled up the inner portion of the roll peeled first.
