Excellent gimbal with the Raven Eyes and focus motor.
I recommend getting a power base from tilta or small rig and you will be impressed with the versatility of this gimbal. The pro version is a must just for the Raven Eyes. While I will upgrade to the RS4 in the near future, I wanted to review this after months of use. All batteries still last as long and this has helped me bring more rigging options to the field in a small package. It is built like a tank, worth every penny, super functional, and light wheight compared to my cinema rig.

Almost as good as the RS4 pro for much less
Ordered the newest and best. It was fine, everything worked, but I had buyer remorse spending almost 1200 on it. Got the rs3 pro for half the price from Amazon, and it’s pretty much as good. You don’t have the quick switch plate for vertical shooting, and the rod for mounting the focus motor is not a standard 15 mil. Everything else with menu and options for refinement seems the same, still has the automatic locks and handles my A7s3 and tamron 28-75 with rod, focus motors and cable just as well. If you are buying a bunch of gear and vertical shooting is not a major part of your workflow, the rs3 pro will be wonderful. I finally upgraded from the original ronin S. Happy with the better features

It's a DJI Gimbal, you can't go wrong
It's a DJI Gimbal, you can't go wrong. I bought this when the RS4 came out and the features are not worth going the RS4. The RS3 Pro is an excellent value at this point and still a workhorse gimbal is so many productions. All my Real Estate/Wedding work requires this amazing gimbal. Way more stable compared to my Zhiyun Crane 2S which I used for years and alot lighter.

the right tool for a pro
This is my 6th gimbal stabilizer and by far the best. I had a Crane, a Weebill and a few smaller ones for phones and action cameras. The Ronin is by far the best. In every aspect does this one top the competition. First and foremost, the algorithms are superior to the others. Out of the box it will generate excellent smooth shots without any issues. It filters all unwanted shake and erratic motion while still allowing you to control the camera angle well. It handles the Nikon Z9 with a 24-120 lens with ease. The user interface is also well designed and intuitive. I absolutely love the extended handle for shots where I want the camera close to the ground. Changing the battery grip is a matter of seconds as well. Another great feature is it automatically locks and unlocks all motors when you turn it on or off. This is such an amazing feature. With other gimbals you have to do that by hand three times again and again. You can tell this unit is the result of many years of feedback from professionals and constantly improvements. Yes it is more expensive than the competitors but it is absolutely worth it.

Amazon cheated me
The DJI RS3 Pro Combo is, I'm sure, a great tool for any filmmakers arsenal, and I'm happy I purchased one. I just wish Amazon would have sent me the correct one instead of trying to pass off a cheaper Rocket2 when I ordered a used one from Amazon Warehouse.I thought I was receiving a great value at only $603.00 for a used-like new Gimbal, alas not so.Tried to leave a similar review earlier, but Amazon did not like what I had to say, and would not allow that review to pass. No I have to talk about the products weight, grip, sturdiness, and value. So here you go: The RS3 Pro weighs 3.3 pounds. The grip I would imagine is very similar to the grip on the RS2, or the more expensive RS4. You hold it, and are able to move the gimbal around. I really wouldn't know, since I DIDNT GET IT! Not yet anyway. I ended up ordering a newer used one from Ebay. I'm sure that seller won't try to send me a cheaper model.DO NOT BUY USED FROM AMAZON!!!

Amazing Gimbal All Purpose.
RS 3 pro is one of the best Gimbals there is on the market hands-down. Love the locking axis and the performance and smoothness of the motors. Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a gimbal that can handle all sorts of projects and cameras. I was able to balance a 70 to 200 easily.
