Dermaharmony 10% Sulfur Acne Bar Soap (4 oz)

I have rosacea, and this is the only thing that has worked for me. I started out using it morning and evening, but that was too much. Now I just use it in the evenings and in the morning so I just splashed my face with water. Anyway, the soap is awesome and it’s going to last a long time. I’ve been using it for well over a month and I haven’t even dented it yet. I will say that it does tarnish or turn metal jewelry so just beware of that. The smell is not too bad and definitely dissipates after you add any other additional products.

It smells like sulfur however it’s not overwhelming like my old prescription sulfur wash I used to use. I switched from a pharmacy sulfur wash because it had parabens in it. This has worked well as far as I can tell. I don’t have many break outs ever. It dries out my skin if I keep the product on my face too long or wash too often so you just need to be careful with how often and how vigorously you wash your face with it. As for my chest and back the soap never dries out my skin there. The soap lasts me a little over a month which is great. It’s cheaper than my old prescription sulfur wash, just about as effective and lasts as long as my old prescription soap lasted. Although I can’t say it helps with black heads so you may have to use a separate product to address that. Otherwise it’s a great alternative to prescription strength sulfur wash and works good.

not as strong as a Sulphur scent as some others. It does smell, but it's bearable, and the smell is only there while using it. Leaves me oil free, but not completely dry, I don't get that tight parched feeling after. I always follow up with a good moisturizer regardless. I use this more as a face mask, This soap has a nice lather and I can cover my face really well. I then let it dry and leave on for about 15 minutes. This is the best way It works for me, leaves my face feeling soft, and really helps reduce redness. I almost never get pimples/breakouts anymore. The ones I do get I spot treat with this to dry them out, and then apply a centella ampoule which makes it heal faster. I use in-shower on days I sweat a lot, I find it helps breakouts on chest and back happening from sweat. it also helps dry me out just enough to use a Korean exfoliation cloth better. helps the cloth give better friction to really remove all the dead skin. of the Sulphur soaps I have used this one is the most gentle feeling. it leaves you dry but not the parched tight feeling. I always follow up with a moisturizer that works for me (LRP cicaplast or castor oil for face and cerave in the blue tub for body) I use this at night before bed, I don't mind the heavier lotions. It also leaves me soft. This soap makes the best hand soap for me, my hands feel so clean and soft afterwards (they too sweat a lot and Ive found using this as hand soap helps keep them sweat free for a decent amount of time)

I have sensitive skin that dries easily. I bought this to help with redness. I lather up my face with it and let it sit for two minutes while I brush my teeth at night. Initially I found that it did leave a sulfur smell for 10 min but now months into using it I don’t notice it. I think it did help with redness. The main thing that surprises me was it didn’t irritate me or dry me out like regular soap. It didn’t clog pores or anything like that. It’s rare for me to find something my sensitive skin can handle. If you have redness/rosacea this is definitely worth a shot! It’s now my go to soap because I know it doesn’t bother me and I think it does help.

This product was recommended by my dermatologist for bumps on the skin. The bar cleared up my skin irritation and the quality is good. This product has a clean texture with a smooth lather.

Dries out any body pimples but very drying of not followed with a moisturizer

Do you ever feel like your deodorant is failing you? Just wash your pits with this. Also works on cracks and junk. Gentle. Rinse it off and there is no odor. Better than benzoyl peroxide because it doesn’t bleach and kills bacteria and doesn’t dry out your skin. Also helps any buttne or backne you may have. Haven’t tried it on my face yet but my husband used it on his shaving irritation and asked me to buy another bar

Super effective and gentle enough for daily use. I use this at night before my AHA or BHA, and it’s made a significant difference. I saw less irritation and clearer skin in a week. I’ve now ordered the 10% sulfur and 3% salicylic bar, the 2% zinc bar, and the 2% salicylic bar. I use at least one of them daily depending on my skin. Love this brand and the simple yet effective ingredients. Highly recommend for anyone with acne prone or irritated skin looking for alternatives to 100+ ingredient skin care products. I use them on my body too and no longer wear deodorant! Great stuff.
