no manual book but easy to set up
My TV is old model with only two HDMI ports. There is no available port for my new TV box(for Asian channel). I looked for the switch everywhere. I found the similar product in frys with much higher price, so this price is fair. It doesn’t disappoint me. It is very easy to set up; convenient to remote control; perfect sized fits my table. I am satisfied with it so far. RECOMMEND!

This is a second HDMI switched I purchased. The first being a 3 to 1 wired version without a remote control. It worked fine, but the fact that there is a remote control makes life a lot easier after the initial set up. As some of the other reviewers mentioned, It will auto detect the unit that is turned "on", if more than 1 unit connected is turned on the remote comes in super handy.The unit is easy to use and as technology goes I expected nothing less for this to perform as intended. Recommended!

My intended application for this device (switching between two computers down to a single monitor) did not work I believe because the monitor is using a DVI to HDMI cable. The documentation on this particular product is pretty scarce so it is difficult to troubleshoot any issues that you run into along the way. It seems well built and was inexpensive so I kept a hold of the product even though it did not meet my original intended needs in case I come up with a use for it in the future.

Died within a few weeks; unreliable when it was working.
Despite being advertised as "4K", the switch consistently dropped frames when passed a 4K video signal. It would also frequently fail to recognize when a new device was powered on and, even when changed to the proper input manually, it would often fail the HDMI handshake. As noted elsewhere here, the power cable does not fit the receptacle correctly. Also, the IR receiver failed to function. Avoid.

Great Deal to fix my TV with only one HDMI input.
This is working great. I use it to switch between my cable box on input 1 and my DVD player on input 2. I don't even need the remote since it automatically switches to input 2 when I turn on my DVD player.

Caution but maybe good.
It was working good for 4K, but then something said there was an HDCP 2.0 error and it seemed to come from here.

Works Well, Great Price
Works great for my "limited HDMI input" television. I have experienced no issues switching between Sat TV, DVD or my Fire TV Stick. Recommended.
