Even the packaging is high quality. The step is well designed and manufactured. It has adjustable depth in and out of the hitch. You can flip the step to have either stars design or circles tread. Mine came with the circles up. I was also really impressed by the locking hitch pin, so nobody steals my step. The 4 inch drop is just right for my Sprinter van, landing at exactly the midpoint between the ground and the tailgate. The install is easy with clear instructions. The hardware is high quality. I wish i had another car to buy a second one. The value for the price is incredible. This one replaces another that cost twice and much and broke on me. Buy this product so the company keeps making them. My only feedback for the company is to make the bolts shorter, so the anti-rattle bar when the step is at the closest setting on the hitch. I had to cut the bolts down. Oh and by the way guys, it comes with an anti-rattle clamp. AMAZING

This step is a great addition to any truck or Jeep that does not have any sort of technology built into the bumpers. I find that with the backup sensors in my vehicle it is constantly triggering the warning like I am about to back into something which gets really annoying very quickly. Other than that it's definitely useful for getting to the top of the vehicle when washing it. I wish the star pattern was reversed so that the stars were facing up without having the tongue raised up 4 to 5 in higher. The whole point was to be able to see that cool star pattern and unless you have it flipped upside down which defeats the purpose of a lowered step to climb onto, you can't see that design at all. Honestly I don't really feel like it's built well enough to be the price that it was listed at. That's just my opinion though.

Easy to assemble and really made a difference getting in and out of cargo area.

Getting old and have knee problems. This step is a lifesaver. Even our son with his lifted truck loves it. Worth every penny!

The clearance of the step made it impossible to use effectively on the 2023 transit van my husband drives. we ended up giving it to a friend with a pick up where clearance would not be an issue. it rests too close to the ground on the bottom of the step if you hit unlevel pavements or driveway gaps.

This seems to be a well made bump step. I really like the way it can be reversed too for height. The hardware is strong and it does come with a push button lockable Hitch Pin and an Anti-Rattle U bolt. Nice Bump Step!
