Yes it is very easy, you can do as the instruction.

Q: How to get a longer mandrel? There are places where the head diameter is too thick to get enough clearance to the holes. A spacer needs more reach.

Hi, this tool is only design for standard rivnuts. It will not work with plusnuts since the mandrels are not that long.
