Decent board to learn to surf on. My first foamie was the Bladestorm by the same company. Wider and much more forgiving, but you won’t progress unless you challenge yourself, thus enters the thinner Wavestorm. This board is quite a bit more squirrely. Also, has fewer liters, so holds less weight, meaning it’s a very slow board. Get ready to wear out your shoulders from paddling. The rocker is also fairly shallow so tombstoning (nose dive) is common until you learn how to put your weight toward the back at the exact right time.
