Crimper works well but waterproof connectors stick so when finished crimping keep Crimper in place and lift wire and connector off of crimping tool. Other than that it’s a great tool.

These are great crimpers! With the ratcheting system you no longer have to strain a tendon to get a strong bite on the connector/end you are working with. The surface area is wider also so it crimps more of the barrel down on the wire(s) to make a more solid connection. Happy with them!

These will crimp a butt connector that you will not be able to pull apart! Very nice. They are a little clunky and heavy, but are well made and very inexpensive. I hope Olsa comes out with a simple style plier crimper Like Cornwell sells. It would be nice to have both.

Am definitely impressed by it, well made and has weight to it. Takes away from worrying if the crimps were done properly and won’t pull apart easily. Definitely recommend this for your tool box, even if you don’t use it often it’s worth having nonetheless.

This is a tool that performs very well for the price. It is a solid constructed tool for stripping and cutting electrical materials on a day in day our basis. It still very tight and no looseness in the joints so far.

I normally use a small hand crimping tool, which has nowhere near the force that this tool has. It takes a pretty strong hand to complete the crimp. but so far that has not been a problem for me. Unless the wire is very skinny, all of my crimps test ok to a very strong test yank.

Its not the usual Chinese garbage. Its commercial grade.

Good quality tool, crimped solid

I wanted to like these. After using this for wiring repairs on my boat, I find them bulky for tight spaces. I also found the crimping surface wider than I would prefer for heat shrink butt connectors. In the end I found it best to have half the crimping surface on the metal and half just on the heat shrink to get good crimps. With the right connectors and ample space these do give a nice looking crimp that holds the wire well. But a lot of what I do is in tight spaces. Back to regular crimping pliers.
